In my quest to find a really authentic Indian taste in CT, this one comes pretty close. Though it offers mostly North Indian dishes, it beats other Indian restaurants in the area. Decor is simple but food is outstanding and staff is verify attentive. It's like eating food at home.

Stopped in for the lunch bufffet on a sunday. Great food, great deal. $9.95 each. and left satisfied. The cook came up to our table and made sure everything tasted good. Would definitely come again

Very impressed. Didn't look like much from the outside but the food was fantastic. The service was excellent will definitely be back. My girlfriend is vegan and they were able to accommodate her no problem.

Geez. All these great reviews I was expecting great Indian food. What I got was food that didn't taste Indian at all. Chicken Korma- sauce tastes like spicy ketchup or wing sauce. There was maybe 5 pieces of chicken included in the container. Paneer bhuri- grated cheese with onions (no sauce at all) So disappointing as it is my favorite dish at most Indian restaurants. Naan- full of butter/grease. I would recommend many other places in the area over this.

I love this place. We only had the lunch buffet so far but it was really good - and not "over curried". We especially liked the Chicken Tandoori and the lamb. There was a wide variety of dips for the naan. I wish I knew more about Indian food. I'm going to keep coming back so I can learn. Decor and ambience is modest. Service was very good. Place appeared clean. The guy who runs the place is really interesting and pleasant. Spend a few minutes and chat with him.

Just stopped in on a quiet and had opportunity to t the buffet. The buffet offers at least 4 chicken dishes including tandoori. ( I am used to having it offered by wait staff) Vegetable offerings www good and enough for a vegan to enjoy buffet. Plain nana was brought to table. There was a soup as well that I didn't try. The spiciest was medIum in heat and only found it in one dish. I do like spicy but this was perfect compliment to other food. The owner brought me a hot chai tea too! This buffet is a bargain and if consistent seven days a week, it is a great addition to Milford, Orange and New Haven.

My wife and I eat here all the time. We especially like a lamb dish called Rogan Josh. All the dishes are good, and the portions are big enough that we always have leftovers. The service is friendly and efficient. The ambiance is not much to speak of, but that is to be expected as the site was formerly a pizza chain. Highly recommended.
Ordered delivery using Grubhub and was hopeful that the food would live up to other reviews. Coromandel is closed on Mondays so we decided to try somewhere new. Unfortunately, we spent about $80 dollars and didn't even receive our full order. We were missing 2 full items. I called the restaurant to let them know about the missing items and the guy that answered the phone didn't seem to understand or care what I was saying so we ended up calling Grubhub instead. Our experience with this restaurant was disappointing and annoying and the food wasn't near as good as other reputable Indian restaurants nearby. The food was bland and flavorless even though we had requested spicy. Sucky experience and a waste of money!

Try the buffet - it is truly outstanding. You will not find better Indian food anywhere. Not terribly spicy and full of delicate, complex flavors.
