I usually come to the Wendy’s inside the Pilot in Milford, and every time I hope the service has improved. Today sealed it for me. I was told at the speaker that the drive-through was down, so I placed my order in the app for drive-through pickup. I pulled up, waited about five minutes with no acknowledgment, and was finally told to park and come inside. If the drive-through isn’t available, it shouldn’t be offered in the app. It’s basic customer service.

Right after this, I drove 30 seconds down the road to Taco Bell. Complete opposite experience , polite, on point, fast, and professional. That’s what customer service is supposed to look like.

This is the second negative experience with this Wendy’s in a week. I’m officially done with this location. They’ve made it clear they just don’t care.

Went in to purchase a meal and they said “the system was shutting down.” They refused to take the order. I asked to speak to a manager or team lead and offered to pay in a cash amount covering more than my meal expense since they couldn’t take card. The manager/lead proceeded to say “I would lose my job if I put money into the register.”
There is no company in the world that would refuse making money that contributes to the store especially in extenuating circumstances with a clear solution that will profit the store’s bottom line over all. They refused service to convenience themselves into not making or taking more orders. Someone should reevaluate with this team what the main focus of the business is which #1 we know is making a profit(which they refused to do) and taking care of the customer. Went to McDonald’s afterwards spending my $20 with an effortless process. The employees are giving money to your competition because of their laziness and stubbornness.
After trying to leave, they said “we could have just gave you free stuff you should have just taken it” even tho they refused to do anything about taking an order. Why can you give out free stuff but not make a simple transaction?

Should not be allowed to place order for drive through pickup on app if they make you go inside and say the drive through is closed after 12am every single time.

1-Star Experience: The manager at this West Haven location is incredibly rude, its possible that she's the same lady some other reviews are referring to. After being asked to park, I politely declined and mentioned that the last time i went to that store they had me wait in the parking lot for 15 minutes until i had to walk to the store to grab the order. The manager sarcastically said, 'don't we love these people' and then told staff to rush me out in a very disrespectful manner. This store clearly cares more about their drive-thru timer than their customers.

My food was not fresh but MATT at front counter insured that it was remade. Fresh and timely !! Which I truly appreciated being this was the only meal I was eating for the day I had to be on the road for a day trip. He Took my 0 star review to 5 with his understanding and quick action. Thank you again MATT !!
