We had my daughter’s bridal shower at Monroe Social back in June. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. Constantin did an amazing job helping me with the planning details. Dave was absolutely amazing the day of the brunch…from set-up until the end! He handled all of our requests, with a big smile on his face to boot! The brunch was delicious. What a great venue for any celebration! Thank you!

Monroe Social gets 2 very different reviews. Dine in was not great. The food was average, the prices were high, and the wait times were slow. On the other hand, take out family specials were excellent. The chicken cordon bleu was juicy, the penne vodka was creamy, and it came with salad and cauliflower. I definitely recommend the catering special. Dine in could be better.

The name of this establishment reflects the friendly atmosphere. This is a place to meet friends and new acquaintances, and converse over great food (farm to table) and beverages. The Bourbon/whiskey selection is outstanding, while the burgeoning Scottish Single Malts collection grows more impressive by the season. Highly recommended.

I don’t understand the rating this place gets. The food was meh. The brussel sprouts were very good. My salmon was too dry. The kids meal of a hamburger dry and blackened the fries crisp to the core . Just don’t understand why kids meals are often just garbage. When I complained about the hamburger I didn’t get an answer just a mumble. No skill to deal with a complaint.
Second time going. Service from the kitchen was much better this time around. Food is decent. Trivia on Thursday is fun! Nice night out with our friends.

Food: For appetizers, we ordered Brussel sprouts, topped with pumpkin seeds, bacon, and local honey. They were good. We also ordered the coconut shrimp w/ sweet chili sauce, and that was definitely my favorite part of my meal. So delicious! Especially the sauce!
Entree: I ordered the bacon cheese burger, and it was good. Could have used a bit more seasoning on the meat, and the bacon could have been cooked longer, but I did enjoy it. The French fries were delicious.
Ambiance: cute little bar style. Very clean. Loved that there was a gentleman there singing. I'm not sure if this is just a weekend thing. We came on a Saturday. There are lots of different types of people there. Very chill and cozy vibes. Loved the dimmed lighting.
Service: Sadly, I forgot our servers name, but wow, was he great! Very patient, kind, and funny. Very attentive.
Overall, the experience was great. I would 100 percent come back, and it's definitely worth checking out!
