Just went in for milkshakes with my buddy and his 5 yr old. The gentleman behind the counter then made our youngest feel cool, and then proceeded to make sure top notch milkshakes.. the single scoop of ice cream on top.. is such a perfect touch. Thanks again, made ournight

Old fashioned ice cream shop! Service was ridiculously friendly! Paid $9 in change for a large milkshake but it's worth it. Freshly made not from mix. Not only that, when I asked if you could make a milkshake out of any ice cream flavor. He said anything is possible! Not only did he make a large milkshake he topped it with a full scoop of the ice cream, in my case strawberry cheesecake. I've never seen an ice cream place. Top a large shake with a full scoop of ice cream. Definitely coming back to this place! It's got an old fashioned atmosphere and a nice porch to sit on.

I’ve been and my parents have brought my kids to this location before but the service we received today was HORRIBLE. If there was an option for no star review I WOULD GIVE IT!! We asked politely for a kids icecream on a sugar cone and the person was going to give us a cake cone. I asked if he didn’t have sugar cones and RUDELY put back the icecream SLAMMED CLOSE the door slider and threw the cone on the counter. I felt DISRESPECTED by his actions not just because he did it to me but he did it IN FRONT OF MY KIDS AND OTHER CUSTOMERS! I’m not the type of person that would leave reviews on businesses even if we had a bad experience but this customer service was humiliating

Amazing ice cream shop with that home made feel. Service is stellar and the available options include high end items liked dipped waffle cones and bowls. This is a can’t miss experience for this in and around Monroe.

Was on a weekend trip to CT and stumbled upon this GEM of a ice cream shop. We had ice cream on Friday and was so impressed with the hospitality and ice cream that we became instant repeat customers for Saturday. You will NOT be disappointed. Great local small ice cream shop destination in Monroe, CT.
