Server avoided customers and is most of our time here. The server spent most time yucking it up with other employees. My Bermuda seafood chowder was ok but very salty and lobster linguine was adequate and pasta was too pasty. But the real disappointment was the service and lack of any attention: plates from the first course left during the entire meal, empty soup bowls never removed and sat there until the main arrived, never a usual “how are things” from the server while we ate. Just neglect. The restaurant was 90% empty and the entire staff seemed checked out.

Friendly and kind wait staff. Super attentive. Raw menu is awesome. Great assortment of fresh and flavorful oysters. Fried dishes are pretty standard but they’re cooked text book, and the haddock is better than most restaurants in the area. The lobster jasper style is fantastic. Buttery, creamy, and packed with mmm mmm goodness.

Fried chicken is juicy and very hot I think it is the best thing on the menu I don’t want to put down the rest of the food but If they sold chicken next to Popeyes and KFC they would corner the market I would definitely wait for their chicken When you order it, they do tell you it takes a few minutes to get it cooked, but it is Worth wait

Amazing! The haddock was butter creamy mushroom sauce with rice and broccoli was cooked perfect 👌. Was not dry at all. The lobster Linguine 🦞 was delicious as well with some dry chili flakes for that spicy. Clam chowder was yummy! Oyster was fresh! I love it here and will be back again to try other dish on the menu.

disappointing experience. The food was oily, but what bothered us even more was the service. 1. There were empty tables available, but we were told there were no tables at first. 2. After being seated, no one gave us menus — we had to ask for them ourselves. 3. When the food arrived, we still didn’t have any utensils and again had to go ask for them. 4. The menu states that a 20% gratuity is only added for parties of 6 or more. We had fewer than 6 people, yet they still automatically included a 20% gratuity on our bill without telling us.

We ate at The Summer Shack several nights with larger groups, and it was consistently great. Service was excellent — Dasher and Billy took great care of us. Even though they were busy, orders came out quickly and everything was spot on.
The food was perfect every time, whether it was a fried fish sandwich, fresh lobster, or even a perfectly cooked steak for someone in our group with a seafood allergy.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for good food and great service at Mohegan Sun!

Food was horrible, how do u screw up a burger. Service was no better, told him about the food and he could care less. Plenty of other options at the hotel do yourself a favor and skip this one

Very disappointed. We were told the salmon was not cooked 100% through so we asked for it to be cooked a little more and it came back charged. Waitress gave herself a 20% tip. Food was way too salty service was just okay. There are way better places to eat at Mohegan Sun.
