Uncasville Diner Reviews
they served bad meat. cornbeef should not be gray
I’m genuinely surprised at the amount of negative reviews. I ordered the ribeye with eggs and everything was cooked the way I wanted and the steak was really tender. My significant other also ordered a couple different big breakfast items and everything came out great. I was very pleasantly surprised. I didn’t mind the prices since everything exceeded my expectations for presentation and quality.

The Uncasville Diner offers a varied menu and friendly service, although some guests have raised concerns about wait times and food quality. The atmosphere is considered good, with many enjoying the comfortable setting, especially in the warmer downstairs dining area. The waitress is often described as kind, and the grinder rolls continue to receive praise. The California Eggs Benedict is highlighted as a tasty choice, and overall, the food is regarded as very good. However, there are still issues with oily fries, a lack of meat in certain dishes, and the presence of fruit flies. Some recent diners have noted that the food is good and reasonably priced, but there have been reports of disappointment, particularly with dishes like the baked stuffed shrimp, which lacked sufficient shrimp and appeared unappealing. Despite these concerns, the owner is noted to be pleasant, and the homemade raspberry iced tea has received positive feedback. The diner maintains a classic diner experience with a kid-friendly atmosphere featuring Crayola crayons, making it a spot worth visiting.
