5-Diamond Restaurant at Winvian Farm

First time in the formal dining room, awesome experience. The pub is great but the restaurant is a cut above everything in the area. We look forward to dining again soon.

On a rainy fall evening, on a rustic setting and magnificent grounds, we passed the gate and were welcomed by a valet at the front door. The buildings conveyed the atmosphere of an elegant country estate. We were greeted by the friendly, welcoming, attentive staff and ushered to our table near the fireplace in the original farmhouse, which was beautifully restored. Our server Anthony was friendly, bright and attentive and Emily was wonderful, providing a history and description of the building, the grounds, the amenities and the menu. As advertised, the food was exceptional; we selected from the Prix Fixe menu which featured Seared Tuna, Grilled Octopus, Beef Tenderloin and Baked Haddock among other items. All were cooked to perfection providing a memorable dining experience.

As always, Winvian is a true gem. It is outstanding in every way! The cuisine, service and overall ambiance are very seldom found. I have literally eaten in some of the best restaurants throughout the world as I traveled extensively for many years on business. I, without reservation, put Winvian in the top tier of the very best.

An amazing, romantic restaurant with a friendly, attentive staff. The food was delicious and presented in such a way that your eyes could taste the food. The views of the sunset from the balcony table were beautiful. 5 Stars

We had a delightful evening dining at Winvian. The service was impeccable. The food was delicious. The presentation was impressive. My halibut was light, white and tender. The vegetables were fresh from the garden. The fresh herbs from the garden gave everything an added dimension. My strawberry shortcake dessert was so artfully displayed. The wine list was impressive. We look forward to returning.

I've wanted to dine here for a while, and finally checked it out this week. I will say the grounds and the ambience are ideal, especially when sitting outside on an evening in late summer/early fall, exceptional outdoor dining. My only negative would be the beverage and dining itself. I had the cleanest extra dirty martini (straight vodka) I've ever ordered, and my date had the pumpkin martini special to indulge in fall, it tasted like a pumpkin candle from Yankee candle co. I'd suggest a mixologist/drink crafter to match the level of dining portrayed. The dining itself was lackluster, I enjoy fine dining and am more than happy with paying for food that ignites my tastebuds and sends me on a palate journey, but things like cold butter that doesn't spread well, reminds me of ordering bread at my local diner with those butter packets fresh from the fridge.

This place is unbelievable. The views are stunning. The food is excellent. Be prepared to spend a lot of money.

Marina, our waitress, was absolutely amazing—her warm and welcoming personality made our experience even more enjoyable. Valiea at the front desk was equally polite and accommodating. The food was exceptional. I had the chicken paillard and it was perfectly cooked—light, flavorful, and beautifully plated. Every bite was fresh and delicious.

Always a favorite!! Perfection in every way!! The food, service and ambience make for a lovely summer lunch.

Everything was wonderful! Food was delicious and prepared perfectly. Service was perfect. Attentive, but not intrusive. It was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Cannot recommend enough!

My partner and I had a wonderful dinner; extraordinary food eclipsed only by the impeccable service and friendly staff.

Things started out well: I think the manager was there. Once he left we simply could not and did not get any service. I had to get up twice and go to the bar to ask for another drink. Better staff at our local diner. Noise level off the charts due to some unbelievably loud talkers, but that's not the restaurant's fault.

The winvian is always top notch. You can't go wrong there. Service, atmosphere, food and drink are impeccable.

We cant stop talking about how much we enjoyed Winvian today. It was our first time and we just moved to the area, Christina was amazing.. gave us terrific advice, all the staff was fabulous. The food was delicious, we cant wait to come for dinner. We are definitely going to be spending alot of time at Winvian, thank you!! Michael & Stephen
