Celebrated our 10 year anniversary here. Romantic, serene, great food and spa. The cottages are perfect for an upscale getaway experience in the CT countryside.
The service was impeccable and the hotel charming. The gym is long in the tooth.
The whole experience was 5stars. Every detail noticed. Simone took such good care of us at the bar. We will come back.

Chef Chris Eddy insists on deep passion about seed and soil quality, the art of growing, and the craft of preparing the freshest ingredients. Many ingredients are grown in the garden. The food is full of flavor with a thoughtful menu. The staff provides a true understated luxury experience and is attentive, warm, and genuinely enthusiastic. The restaurant and spa on location are both 5 star. The interior is modern with all modern appliances. The staff, food, and beverages are complemented by the views. A word of caution about the bicycles: they feature reverse pedal brakes and no gear shift, making hills and gravel paths challenging.
