Looking to go some where quiet this is the place for u
OH MY GOD!! What an incredible place with such unique cabins and amazing food! The staff were so professional and welcoming too. We stayed at the Beaver Lodge, which was impeccably designed. The food was some of the best we’ve ever had; cooked to perfection with a good variety and they were able to accommodate allergies and diet preferences without impacting the quality. A definite must-stay!
We just wrapped up a wonderful 3-night stay at Winvian Farm.. our second time back after about 6 or 7 years, and it was just as special as we remembered.
The individual, uniquely themed cottages make the entire experience feel completely distinct from any standard luxury resort. Winvian Farm is a destination hotel that offers more than just a stay—it is an experience. The 113 acres of space is luscious and beautiful, with more than 6 mini lodges, each with a unique and fun theme. The treehouse is really unique and comfy, and the Beaver Lodge and Woodlands are beautifully unique. What sets Winvian apart from any resort in CT is its consistent and reliable culinary philosophy. Chef Chris Eddy insists on deep passion about seed and soil quality, the art of growing, and the craft of preparing the freshest ingredients. Many ingredients are grown in the garden. The food is full of flavor with a thoughtful menu. The staff provides a true understated luxury experience and is attentive, warm, and genuinely enthusiastic. The restaurant and spa on location are both 5 star. The interior is modern with all modern appliances. The staff, food, and beverages are complemented by the views. A word of caution about the bicycles: they feature reverse pedal brakes and no gear shift, making hills and gravel paths challenging.
