what a cute little place! we stumbled upon this little ice cream shop/cafe and we loved it ! Ice cream was so good, they have a variety of flavors and so many options for milkshakes and flurries! They also have food and the menu looked so good - we got ice cream, milk shakes and some French fries and it was delicious! we would definitely make the trip to go back!

Been coming here since a kid, prices are a little on the high side but the food is always good, great for the kids, always a good environment and normally super convenient, also great ice cream…: But WE NEED the swinging picnic tables back !!!! Most disappointing thing ever when they took the old ones out 😭 bring them back !!!!

Popey’s Ice Cream Shoppe is another great seasonal spot for hot dogs, sandwiches, and ice cream. They’ve got both indoor and outdoor seating, which is nice, especially when it gets busy on weekends. The food’s solid, but I really recommend the peanut butter ice cream sundae—one of the best around. Great place to bring the family or just stop in for a treat on a summer evening.

I always get a cheeseburger and curly fries because they're so fresh and delicious. So I can't tell you about the other food they serve there because I haven't branched out yet. I love the outdoor seating area. Two things I do not like are the lines- they need to put in metal rails so people aren't just standing in a lump. It gets very confusing. I also hate that they make you use a porta-potty on the far corner of the property. That's degrading. But I keep returning because the food is so good and its a summer tradition.
