I reached out to Mystic Catering to inquire about catering an event, and was assured over the phone that they were available for the date I needed. After spending time discussing and reviewing menu options over the course of an entire week, I was later informed that they actually could not take on another order that day.
This was extremely frustrating, as I was led to believe my event could be accommodated and invested time into planning around that assurance. I completely understand that caterers have limits to how many events they can take, but what I cannot excuse is the lack of transparency from the beginning. Clear and accurate communication about availability is essential in event planning, and unfortunately, this experience left me feeling misled and that my time was wasted.

FANTASTIC!!! Mystic Catering was an absolute pleasure to work with and the food was outstanding! David, Caitlin and the whole team exceeded all of our expectations, made the whole experience easy and, most importantly, made our event unforgettable. If you are looking for a caterer in the Mystic area, you can exhale because you found them! They did everything right. Their food was fantastic, their service was top notch and their communication throughout the whole process was flawless. I had to arrange everything from out of state and they made it so easy. They were happy to answer all of my questions, they made suggestions based on their own knowledge and experience and they truly helped make our event amazing. I had never hosted or planned an event like this and they were happy to help guide me every step of the way. They really had a genuine interest in making sure the event was perfect. If I could give them 10 stars I would happily do so. If you are looking to have an event catered in Mystic, you owe it to yourself, and your guests, to go with the absolute best!!! The food from Mystic catering has to be some of the best food I’ve had in CT because of the wide variety of dishes that they have and the little special ingredients added to each dish to give the meal a full experience. The crew working including Victoria and her other 2 associates were some of the best caterers I’ve seen work, their energy is electricity and brings smiles to faces making me want to sit down and enjoy a meal of theirs. Thank them for the amazing job they all did and please give these workers any type of praise because they’re service is well deserving of 5 stars.

The chicken parm pasta was great and the sandwiches were good. I thought the chilli was lacking, kind of had a spaghetti os flavor, the cookies were good but not a fan of the brownies. I think it’s very good if you pick the right things
