We always love a good BBQ joint, and with a 4.5 rating, we knew it was worth checking out for a late lunch.
We ordered the Brisket Melt Sandwich and the PBLT. Very filling and tasty amwith lots of sauce options.
The brisket was very tasty and moist on a soft brioche. The caramelized onions and cheddar were the perfect complement. The beans were a fabulous three bean side.
The pork belly burnt ends with lettuce, tomatoes and pickled onions was a little more challenging to eat. Very messy, but a great combo. The cold slaw was flavorful and a good serving size.
The sandwiches were filling and tasty and we appreciated our waitress' recommendations.

Pretty decent restaurant Food was okay Chicken was decent, good flavor, but not smazinu Brisket had quite good flavor, but WAY too fatty The sauces I tried were pretty solid Mac n cheese was good, had potential to be phenomenal Cornbread was pretty good as well
Service was good, quick to be seated, had my order taken, and food showed up quick despite a full crowd check was brought quickly and change
Pricing was on the higher side But I felt like the amount of food I got was adiquate for the price and along with the quality of food and good service I didn't feel completely taken advantage of
I would likely come here again and try some of the less expensive things on the menu

I almost hate to do this review. I wanted to like this place. Being from Southern California . And having family from the south. I know and love some bbq. But this was way too dry. No Smokey flavor . No flavor. These a saying “if you ain’t sneezing it ain’t seasoning”. And no one even felt a sneeze in that kitchen. My kids were very disappointed. Even by the nachos they didn’t knock your socks off. More flavor. Salt those chips. More sauce . Meat needs more seasoning. It’s ok to smoke it the. Slab it on a cast iron with some sauce . The cornbread was a shame. Use some sugar some honey and some jalapeño seeds. You can even make a jalapeño cream cheese and add that to the cornbread. Yummy! I brought my over priced food home and my 6 kids asked me to fix it 🤦♀️. I know yall got this, so please flavor the food. And don’t make it so dry. And don’t get me started on that Mac and cheese. I’m just glad I didn’t order no collards from yall.
