Quick and easy lunch. Very reasonable price. Super nice staff. Great atmosphere inside and outside. Views of the Charles Morgan whaler from the outdoor tables.

We love going to the Mystic seaport and this was a great pub! The food was terrific and the beer was great. You order inside of the counter and they bring it to your table outside. They also have indoor seating. Would recommend if you are going to see the historic village.
Kid-friendliness: Great for the kids because you sit outside.

We're very picky locals and The Shipwright's Daughter never disappoints. This our go to place for fine dining. Food is innovative and delicious, service is friendly and impeccable, and the atmosphere perfect for a romantic dining experience. Five stars and well deserved.

The ambiance is very charming, however the food is awful. I ordered the roast beef sandwich which was stone cold and tasted like it had been pre-made and sitting in the fridge at least a day. The chips with it were soggy and rubbery, but actually the best part of the meal. This food was not cheap either. $15 per sandwich. With bottled non-alcholic drinks and the obligatory tip they ask for, despite rather surly service at a counter, it came to $46. Very poor experience.
I think is place is great! You can feel the history!
Got there at 4:10 just to learn that they close the kitchen at 4. Overpriced, and early close time unless you just want drinks. Also, VERY crowded interior
We just had a pretzel which was good. But the service was terrible. It was unclear whether we were supposed to order inside or someone would come to our table. But when someone did come to our table they were super impatient and quickly took our order, but never came back. Not a great experience.
Had a bite to eat during the Woodenboat show. Small menu, a bit pricey, but I had a good Rueben and the family enjoyed their meals under a nice shady maple tree. The wait staff had great tshirts, which I want. Good times.
After waiting 20 minutes we left asked for service no one came never go back there again

Part of the Mystic Seaport experience
Great first experience at Spouters Tavern. It was a very busy day at the Seaport (huge antique car show) and the tavern was packed inside and out -but I was hungry and gave it a shot. No long wait to place my order with Heidi and my Joseph Conrad sandwich came out in no time. It was excellent with a cold beer btw. Next time I'm at Mystic Seaport, that's my lunch spot!
This tavern is located in Mystic Seaport. They have tables outside overlooking the bay. The food is delicious and the servings are large enough to share.
Excellent service. Good quality food for museum reasonable price. Gave dog puppy treats and water as soon as we sat down. Sandwich and salad excellent
