Staff was disorganized, though our server and "water poured" tried hard.Food was largely disappointing, greasy.Manager was dismissive and disinterested."♿ Entrance was locked, and the walkway disgusting, smelled of garbage.

Great restaurant, I've been a patron since opening day. Sad they got rid of their smoking pinchos, but still have great dishes and drinks.

We where there for 1.5 hours. It happened to be happy hour, but the atmosphere was very laid back ,chill. The Pupusas are authentic the drinks are unique and tasty. All the food we ate was really good. It was a nice getaway from Boston. Really nice place. I felt classy for once! Ha

I’m a Mystic local, and I used to have to go to Providence or New Haven for a real cocktail bar. No longer. Port of Call is just as good if not better than any in those towns, and there is simply nothing else like it in New London County, CT.

My husband and I had an amazing experience! The atmosphere was perfect. The food and drinks are equally delicious. Sal was a great waiter. They were very attentive and personable. We can’t wait to come back. 5 stars all around!

We spent our anniversary here and it was the best decision! The service was knowledgeable and kind. The ambiance was dimly lit and sexy. On Friday they have live jazz - that was an absolute treat! The food and drinks were explorative and delicious. Please do not miss out on this place and get the tiramisu for dessert!

We came on Monday for "Lost at Sea" night and had so much fun! Comfy seats, awesome decor, yummy snacks, and love the 'message in a bottle' idea where you can choose a surprise cocktail if you're feeling adventurous.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a side door for wheelchair accessibility.

The candle light, the decor...this place is beautiful inside. I felt like I could be in the mid 1700's plotting a revolution while I was there. The cocktail menu is impressive and on Mondays they have these really cool glass bottles with messages tucked away everywhere. You can hand to the bartender one and the message is a secret cocktail that you nor him know until it's made and served. Very fun concept! I did not eat when I was there but I intend to be back to try their food!

Amazing food! Cocktails out of this world. Stephanie may be the best bartender on earth. She explained food and drink choices. Made recommendations. Even though it was buzzing she banged out perfect cocktails and was super friendly. Truly amazing experience!

We planned our trip in advance so we could have small plates and drinks before going on the Mystic ghost walking tour, on a cold Saturday night in December. The website said they open at 4 so we arrived a few minutes after, only to be told inside the front door that they "weren't seating anyone until 6" and that we couldn't wait inside. We mentioned the website said they opened at 4. The bar and tables were all full of people drinking and eating, and a couple of tables were also free. One of our party asked whether it was due to a private event and the hostess said no, we just "aren't seating until 6." We were told the website wasn't up to date but to come back at 4:30 and the hostess took one of our party's cell number and said she'd call us when a table was free but we would "have to be done by 6." Literally never had a restaurant do something like this before but we went along with it. We went out into the cold to walk around Main Street to kill time since we were told we could not wait inside. Came back at 4:30 after no phone call; we were seated at a table and reminded we needed to "free the table up by 6." While waiting for our order, another party was seated next to us and we overheard the customer ask what type of fish they and she was also told "we aren't serving until 6." We started to order off the Happy Hour menu that was inside our regular menu (I should mention a chalkboard also said Happy Hour on it), and the waitress grabbed it from our party's hands and said, "You aren't supposed to have that! Happy Hour is not on the weekends!"The small plates were just average and really spoiled by feeling that we were not actually welcome at the Port of Call. I can't recommend this place and won't be coming back here. On the walking tour we saw many other appealing restaurants and the next time we're in Mystic we'll make a reservation at one of the other spots.

Lives up to the hype and exactly the kind of place Connecticut needs! Interior is stunningly styled, great vibe, awesome food, and really good, friendly service. Dive bar in basement super fun too. Highly recommend. And if you can get there when Sea Queens are doing a show, you're in for a treat.
