I hardly give a restaurant 5 stars across the board but, I had to for this place! We went to Mystic Aquarium yesterday….me, my husband and our 14 year old niece. She legit the pickiest eater ever so, we wanted to eat somewhere that had pasta. She ordered spaghetti with just butter and she said it was the best spaghetti she’s ever had. You could tell it was made from scratch cuz of the size of the spaghetti. She ate the entire thing! I got the chicken parm sandwich with fries!...

We stopped into Trattoria Amalfi for a late lunch and it was absolutely fantastic. Our server Drew was outstanding — friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better.
The food was just as memorable: the Caesar salad with salmon was spot-on, and our apps — fresh oysters and warm garlic bread — were amazing. Everything was delicious, and the relaxed atmosphere was perfect for a midday meal.
