I went to Grandpas this morning with my boyfriend, we both agreed that the food was not very good, but our server was nice and the place was clean and welcoming. More about the food: I ordered the Atlantic sandwich, when it arrived they had forgotten to put cream cheese on it, the "smoked salmon" was cooked salmon that was kinda crushed up by a fork, the tomatoe slices were quite thick, and they put about half of an entire red onion on it. We have waited 45 minutes. No soup no sandwich. Finally received a BLT (allegedly with B), a roast beef on rye (but not rye), coffee that turned out to tea, and a decent Hollywood Egg bowl. Probably okay for takeout (which is what delays the delivery of food to seated customers . Only if no other place is open - but it's not a diner. An all day diner because you'll spend all day here waiting for your order ( unless you got your takeout and are already home eating).
