We had a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant was really nice and the service was excellent. For starters we had the bread service which was really good. The butter had a maple flavor which made it taste really good. For my entree I had the pork chop special, it was cooked perfectly. I also ordered the mixed vegetables which were absolutely delicious. My girlfriend had the chicken liver pate, she loved it. For dessert we had the pumpkin spice crème brûlée. Overall the dining experience was excellent, we will definitely go back.

I love this restaurant!!!! You guys do it so well. I feel proud to be from a town that takes such pride in their restaurants and even more so the clients experience !!!! Amazing portions that also justify the dollar- and love the new renos too! Yum yum yum and so much fun. Also great pace/speed of service

When we were there last, they had amazing ribs on the menu. They no longer offer them. Big disappointment. The food they had was terrific but NO RIBS!

I don't visit New Canaan all that much but I think I will from now on. Elm is one of the reasons. Really great spot right in the center of town. The atmosphere was excellent. Looks like it could be upscale yet totally casual at the same time. Food was excellent. Service was top notch. Overall stellar experience. I will be back as it is exactly what The Amore Life enjoys.

My son and I went to have lunch on a Saturday at noon. It was empty inside. A few tables with customers outside. We decided to sit inside. We were given water. We saw servers going back-and-forth inside to outside. Nobody came over to us to take our order. We waited over five minutes. We decided to leave and told the manager at the front and he gave a weak “sorry” as we were walking out. We went next door to Le Pain and our order was quickly taken. We won’t be back to Elm.

Elm is an absolutely amazing restaurant located in New Canaan, CT. Incredible menu consisting of modern and innovative meals such as falafels served in a plate of fresh hummus and grass-fed smash burgers. Best food, drinks and very attentive service! Highly recommended!

We went to Elm for an anniversary dinner and felt very welcome as soon as we walked in. The food was fantastic with generous portions, — maybe the best pate we've ever had. And the server, Nilo provided outstanding, attentive service. Could not be better. We had such a great time. Can't wait to go back.

Had a wonderful Sunday dinner. Two adults and two kids. The food as fantastic. The kids menu fits the bill exactly. The menu is what I would describe as a curated selection - not too many - just enough options. Service was attentive and on point. The entire team was very friendly and accommodating. They have a warm welcoming atmosphere. Lots of long term employees. Cocktails were well made. Nice selection of wine by the glass. We'll be back!

Service was excellent - they were very attentive and we enjoyed our birthday dinner. It was our first time and we will certainly return.

In a world of boring restaurants, Elm has successfully establish a brand that's both visually distinctive -- and memorable from a culinary perspective. The menu is creative and the food is terrific. I'm a long time Greenwich resident visiting New Canaan, but a few years go I spotted Elm and took a chance, so to speak. Glad I did. The recent lunch was fantastic. Lobster roll with actual lobster -- at least 5 oz. -- and a side of tempura onion rings that were amazing. My wife had the kale salad. Delish. Can't wait to return.

Took my daughter to Elm have the much touted Double Double Animal burger and it didn't disappoint! Ask for the special sauce on the side to dip your fries in! Yum! For dessert, we had the decadent Chocolate Cremaux... heaven on a plate! A slice of chocolate cake enrobed with a mousse-like cloud of milk and dark chocolate, accented with Maldon salt flakes! To. Die. For! As a fancy dessert diva, it was refreshing and much welcomed to see a creative dessert menu rather than the usual cheese cake or carrot cake offerings. Kudos and extra kudos because it was so beautifully executed!

As always, we had an excellent dining experience at Elm. They were patient with our table of 8 with a baby and had our table ready for our 1 year old. Food was excellent and the new decor created a relaxing environment to enjoy our family reunion. Thanks Elm for being reliable, attentive service and memorable dining. Ready to return!

The restaurant is cozy with a variety of seating types. The menu has something for everyone from a burger to pasta to steak. My husband had a strip steak which cut like butter and was done as requested but lacked taste. I had a pasta dish with a spicy lobster cream sauce which was tasty but lacked complexity. The chili overpowered the lobster. No cheese was offered and none of the tables had salt and pepper on them. The appetizers, a flat bread and cheese pull a part rolls w/maple butter were more interesting than the entrees.
