I was on the mission to get some fish and mail a UPS package, and I remembered that both were in the same building but for the life of me I couldn’t find the UPS door. The young man at the fish market took me straight to the UPS entrance after I bought beautiful fish. Thank you!
Along with those in Darien, Larchmont, and Westport, this fish monger is a spin off of the Fjord in Cos Cob. While not quite on the scale of Cos Cob the New Canaan location offers the same variety and high quality as the original. While not a restaurant, it offers take-out lobster dinners, hot and cold lobster rolls, fish and chips, fried-shrimp boxes, and bisques and chowders. Terrific fresh fish. You pay for the quality, but it is worth it. Excellent sushi. Fast, friendly service. The Fjord dip is about as good as such things get. This is a great lunch option in New Canaan.
