Service made the experience better, but the food fell short. We had dined at Solé before, but felt this time around the quality, portion size and overall taste was underwhelming.

Usually an excellent dining experience. However, the steak entrees weren't good. Meat too tough. The Wagu burger was over done and dry. The lobster ravioli special had no taste and was cold. Service was great. Hoping for a better experience next time.

As much as we love the food at Sole, there is always an issue of placing us at the two tables right by the front door even when other tables are available. Having made our Christmas Eve reservations early in November, the host offered us the two tables at the front door again. We spoke up and were granted a high table which is great for a beer and piazza but this was Christmas Eve! We were eventually moved again to a table for four. We would patronize this restaurant more often if the table situation was not such a game. It did dampen our excitement of having a wonderful dinner and the lovely table service and food were overshadowed by this event.

Sole is that rare place that combines amazing food and service with a comfortable at home feel. Six of us dined on a Saturday night in December. It was bustling but never frantic. The servers are attentive but not intrusive. All of us raved about our meals which included the Berkshire pork chop, homemade pasta bolognese, chicken Milanese, steak, halibut, etc. They were all outstanding. Well done, Sole and staff! Love it here.

This place is amazing, everyone works together, they are all happy working about, when i say work together i mean there's no barrier on to who is taking what table, if something needs to be done then it's done. The several times I've been there Freddy, Chris, Anthony, Ricardo, Juan, Jose, Nefty, Brian, Jennifer, William, and of Course DAvid! They all rock, they all work so hard and treat the guests well and make us all feel well at home.

It was extremely crowded when we arrived and I was pushed up next to the hostess stand, but she was very calm and even tempered. She kept her cool in a very high stress situation - there were people everywhere! The hostess seated us a few minutes before our reservation time & we were happy to be in the last table away from the craziness! Our server was very attentive - we starte with some tasty cocktails, which we enjoyed (Don Johnson). I started with the mini lobster rolls, which were #1 adorable and #2 delicious! I wish there were more, although it was a very good size (4). For dinner I had the parmesan crusted halibut, which I always get because it's always delicious, and it was! My husband had the pork and veal meatball, which he devoured. He loved them. He had the Berkshire pork chop for his entree, which he enjoyed every last morsel of. He especially loved the gnocchi on the side & the bacon jam. We will be back sooner than later!
