Stopped for coffee, stayed for the smell. The coffee and atmosphere are awesome. Being from Michigan, I wish I was closer to Connecticut. If you are nearby and enjoy coffee plan a stop at Zumbach's Coffee.

We had to order based on the name as we’ve heard all zumbachs are related. We’ve had the vanilla buttercream and vanilla but and they are delicious

Cute spot nothing bad about it, except the actual coffee was heavily milk and nothing gourmet about it, barely tasted like coffee

First time coming, wish others didn’t put such high expectations (as a coffee guy)

Super cool interior vibes but from a coffee snob its so far off the mark. Still waiting to understand what about burnt coffee is gourmet

Closest comparison is Donut inn in Fairfield in terms of coffee style

Delicious latte every time! They just added a tiramisu syrup which is amazing. Genevieve is always so friendly and helpful too! 10/10

Just got the worst latte I've ever had. Bitter, overly bubbly foam with zero integration. Took 3 sips and had to leave it on the counter. Shame.

Stopped by to grab a coffee over the weekend. The hot coffee was good so I decided to buy a lb to bring home. The girl working behind the counter was unfriendly and turns out didn't even give me the lb. of coffee I paid for.

I didn't watch her weighing out the coffee since I would hope that they would he honest. I did notice she didn't add or remove any beans after weighing so I assumed it was maybe a bit heavier or lighter than a 1lb. I got home and weighed it and turns out the coffee with the bag weighed .9lbs. To add to the sting the coffee didn't taste like the one at the shop (it was the same roast and type) it was definitely burnt like other reviewers have said.

If you go here and buy beans make sure you watch them because it turns out they will shortchange you on the beans.

What you pay for here is ambiance, not the coffee. Have bought multiple pounds of coffee always thinking, “this one will be better”, only to discover they all taste burnt.

Meh

My wife and I try to frequent this shop whenever we are near or passing through New Canaan
. Friendly informative staff. They roast and sell coffee beans on site. The Matcha Latte, new offering, is a highly recommend. We just got back from Japan and their rendition is on par with the best we tasted.

This is a classic coffee house roastery and bantering hub. A welcoming spot for neighbors, visitors and friends. For caffeine and carbeurators. babies and dogs, town workers and private equity teams,
