Okay, so here’s the thing- Zumbachs is a New Canaan staple, it’s so cute, I find the smell so comforting, and all their beans/brewed hot coffees/espresso is good. But I tend to judge coffee places by their iced coffee, and I think we need to talk about the fact that their iced coffee is abysmal. Coffee is superb. Love the espresso beans, we buy the beans for home use.We always order lattes and they’re usually really great, however there are a select few who really don’t do a great job. (Some of the younger/new staff, but I get that they’re learning). But when you get one that they’ve made it just tastes like hot milk, not coffee.Muffins are excellent, but they often run out.
