Passing thru and like to help small businesses. Mistake here. Stopped by to pick up a large ham and cheese sub. Unfriendly owner, that doesn't even acknowledge your presence. Overwhelmed with Grub Hub and online orders. Has customers just standing there. Finally, get my simple cold sub. What a joke- 12.99 for 2 slices of ham and 1 slice of cheese on each half. Are you kidding me. Was far away when I went to eat it but would have just went back and left it in the counter. Screw you. If you don't like your job, and can't even be polite to your paying customers- find a new career. Joke.

Service is always outstanding! The food is absolutely delicious and honestly their pizza... way better then Frank Pepe.. slices are affordable, servings are more then generous and the quality is second to none! If you have a chance to stop by I highly recommend to!

Don't bother. This is typical interaction with Amity and I have tried them several times: Overcharged me then I had to wait a ridiculous amount of time for a simple sausage and pepper grinder only to have the roll completely disintegrate upon first handling. The pizza down the street at Ernie's or Dayton St are far superior as are the grinders at Dayton St or Clemente's.

These guys are awesome. I ordered off of Uber Eats, the driver who "had my order" clearly did not match the order in his hands with what was on his app. There was a receipt and everything. When I called Amity they were amazing, they got another person to deliver my order right away and offered to tip out of their own pocket (I could hear over the phone). So polite and helpful. Oh and the food is bomb, so give them all your money.

The service in this establishment continues to decline. I stopped in to purchase a Milano pie. First of all the man behind the counter failed to acknowledge I was there for a good ten minutes. Is a simple"I will be right with you." too much to ask for. After paying for my order and returning 20 mins later I discovered the guy who took my order made it a white pizza instead of the red I asked for. He then suggested he would slap some red sauce on top. When I requested my money back they then relented to remake the pie. After waiting an additional twenty minutes I finally received the proper order and headed to my car. As I headed back to my car one of the workers ran out of store and started screaming across the lot asking if I had paid. At this point I headed back into the store. Looked at the guy who originally took my order and money and asked him why his coworker is chasing me down like a thief when I paid. He then looked at me and asked me "Did you pay?" In addition to having a receipt ,two other diners in the establishment who were there when I made my purchase said "Yes he did pay!". When I detailed to the manager the shoddy service I received from start to finish and my displeasure at being chased like a thief due to his incompetent staff I was offered a free soda for my embarrassment. There are too many other decent pizza places in New Haven for anyone to bother spending money here.
Very excited to try, wasn't impressed. Soft crust, blah sauce..... I don't know what else to say. We eons be going back

I used the slice app and ordered a small pizza, a grinder and 2 desserts. First....It was delivered promptly and the pizza was nice and warm. The cold grinder was so fresh from the roll to the ham and lettuce and tomato as were the two large pieces of carrot cake and cheesecake. Everything was delicious. I can't wait to try more items off of their menu...soon.

I have heard many mixed reviews about this place so I was nervous to try. I ordered a large pizza , fries , & salad and I was amazed. The food was hot and fresh , prepared perfectly ! I plan to order from here until they let me down which I hope isn't soon . I would like to try all the items on their vast menu which is very unique for a spot in the neighborhood.

I don't understand the low rating at all! Their pizza is great, the price is great, and they offer delivery. This is a cheaper option than the big names downtown, but sometimes that's exactly what you are looking for! Perfect for ordering to go and bringing home for the family. I have tried 2 other pizza shops in Westville and this is by far my favorite.
