We had an AMAZING experience at Anchor Spa! As a Caribbean-American this is one of my new favorites in CT! The menu is so well curated with a variety of Caribbean cuisine. The saltfish fritters give my dad a run for his money, and don’t get me started on those dessert doubles! The drinks were top tier. The service was top tier. The music choice was top tier. The atmosphere was top tier. Our server Randy…TOP TIER. Everything was on point. We will definitely be back!

Very cool concept but the portion sizes were extremely small for the price. The food was good, at least what they brought out. They were out of so many foods and instead of telling us they played it off by only bringing us half our meal and presenting it as the whole meal. Only after we addressed it and complained did they offer a discount and apologize for not telling us. Waitress started off nice but quickly developed an attitude.

Had my first visit here today with a friend and instantly loved the energy. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with great food, drinks, and music setting the perfect vibe.
What made it even more special is that it’s a Black-owned business, and I was happy to support. The bartenders were exceptionally friendly and made the experience even better.
This place is pretty close to the road and can be easily noticed from a vehicle in normal traffic. Safety measures like social distancing and mask protocols are in place. Plus, there’s a wheelchair-accessible entrance, making it welcoming for everyone.
Last night I witnessed a bartender by the name of Bianca scream at a customer coming from the bathroom. She gave the young lady a hard time from the bar. As I was not carded when I sat down she pressed the two women for their I.D.’s with an attitude. I don’t know if she knew them prior but they had a screaming match from the back to the front , it was disturbing . I usually Love the ambiance here the other bartender was phenomenal he was pleasant and kind though he was extremely busy. Bianca just has a nasty attitude she was also snarky with my colleague.

Love the bar but Bianca was so rude. Her attitude was super nasty from the moment I walked in as if I did something to her. She was trying to do her job which was okay but when you’re trying to do your job and snobby THATS not okay. As my friend and I were in the bathroom we were talking about how rude she was not knowing she was in the stall, the moment she walked out she confronted us and said she didn’t care.
