Athenian? Amity? This Diner has been here forever, lots of the same staff from over the years. Ownership has changed. Currently, they have updated the interior and you get the same good service one can have come to expect from over the years this team has been working together. Pricing is fair, quality of breakfast food is on par we the other diners in the area(I only visit here for breakfast). I've been going here since I was a kid, and will continue. Breakfast specials...
Prices are pretty fair. Food is decent, pretty typical diner food. The staff is cordial, and it's nice that they're open late. We go there pretty much every time we visit CT, since they're open late and it's on our way home.
Overall the visit was good and the food was good. I had the broiled scrod be(mini dinner). Surprisingly the portion size was perfect. I couldn't finish the meal. The server was very pleasant and attentive. I would recommend this diner if you are looking for a place to have a good meal, quiet atmosphere and quick service.
