Visited New Haven and was told that BAR had really great pizza -- specifically the mashed potato pizza. I wasn’t sure if I’d like it, but it turns out that I LOVED it. So good! This place is great to grab some pizza with a group. There were lots of great options on the menu.
It's a bar with a small pizza menu. The pizza is thin crust and there's four options from what I saw on the menu, and it's all delicious. A friend and I split a large which was a bit too much but somehow we finished it all.
The service was good, they didn't come and check on us which was in the end of the world. But we sort of expect that sometimes for drink refills and such.

I've been away for 20 years, but the first place I came when I was back in town was BAR and it was like I never left. Still the best pizza, and still a great atmosphere.
Staff was friendly, and beer selection was good.
Don't miss this spot if you are in town!
