We were really excited about finally going here. The place was very clean with a great atmosphere. The workers were friendly. Food, however, was very disappointing. Meats had good flavors but were dry. We had ribs, brisquit, and wings. The mac n cheese was just ok. The beans were gritty, and the roasted corn tasted like corn with taco seasoning on it. The cornbread and honey butter were the best parts of the meal. They also have a very limited choice of bbq sauces.

I went in for my daughter’s 16th birthday after driving 2 hours from NH only to be so disappointed.
Never been before and the service sucked no direction way to loud to hear anything paid 80 dollars for what!!! Nothing. Didn’t even give us what we ordered gave my daughter a box and me a tray to eat off of. Only good thing there was the bar and karaoke. Loved the ladies at the bar she was kind and helpful

I am a vegetarian...who will eat at the Bear's Smokehouse Barbeque-New Haven anytime! The staff is unbelievably accommodating, helpful, and cheerful, especially when I had my ESA Dog, Winter with me, and was trying to wrangle her while walking with a cane.

If I could give this restaurant any more stars I would. Bear's is quite literally unbeatable. Their food is amazing, dining in or delivery i've NEVER been disappointed. By far my favorite place to eat. Worth the money. Awesome staff, extremely welcoming..

As a first time customer, my experience was horrible. No communication. Food was cold . Nobody explained anything . I didn’t know drinks weren’t with the meal. Ended up paying for my meal and got no cups and he wanted to charge me again for after such a horrible time going down the line . There was about 6 or 7 people behind the counter and no one really acknowledged us. Wouldn’t recommend and definitely won’t be back!

Then sandwich was gross. Looks like it was frozen bread from previous reviews. The bread fell apart.

They use frozen bread now compared to fresh. Can totally taste the difference
