I can't believe after moving away and coming back 15 year later this icon of a restaurant is still open. From middle school til highschool this place was my staple. OMG they added new ideas but the vibe is still the same. I love coming home and seeing thing are not so different. So proud of this restaurant and it long years of service. 💜

For a quick bite, Blessings II Go is fine.The food isn't the best Chinese takeout option in New Haven, but it is hard to beat their service and prices. This is my go-to for a quick bite at a late hour in the State street/East Rock area. For a vegan option, I recommend the Homestyle Bean Curd.

Best spot in town for your favorites. Everything is delicious & they get it made fast. Vegetarian & vegan options that are actually creative and good. The Egg Fo Young is IMMACULATE. Everyone who works there is so kind. Need to feed naysayers of chinese food?theres plenty of options for them too like curry & fried shrimp, hot wings ect. I recommend them locals, tourists & clients. 100/10 stars
