Our server was Mary and the service was slow. We waited for 15-20 minutes after ordering our food and drinks and asked our server again if our drinks were on the way. She finally got our drinks out after 10 minutes after we asked. She only checked in on us once because we asked for more water.

OMG, I was so stoked when I found out there's a Bonchon in New Haven! I had to try it, so I came here for dinner. I got soy garlic with rice and pickled radish, plus some japchae. The food was amazing and so tasty! Just like the ones I had in Texas and the Philippines.
The only downside is that the service isn't the best. I was sitting at the table by the bar, and it took forever for them to take my order. They also forgot to give me chopsticks, a napkin, and a plate. Plus it's a little pricey too.

Gina was such a vibe to start off this review! My fiance and I came to enjoy a nice date, the food came out quickly and might I say it was FRESH, AND delicious! The servers were so friendly, and it will definitely be a spot we go back to on the regular! 10/10 for me :) - Anna

The service was bad. My server was too busy chatting with her friend that came in to the point where customers were constantly walking up to the bar to ask for things (drink refills, silverware, plates, the check) because no one was paying attention to the tables. The server spent more time discussing which shots to take with her friend than actually serving customers.
I got the takoyaki and the bulgogi stir-fry udon, the takoyaki was decent but the bulgogi was kinda small and had hardly any beef. I actually ended up going and getting a slice of pizza at a place near by because I was still hungry.
I also to wait a long time to get my check because the server was busy talking to her friend and a regular that was at the bar. When I finally got it, it was for the wrong table because once again, no one was paying attention.
We ordered through uber eats. The drums were super good and freshly made but the bibimbap was not good since the rice to vegetable and meat ratio wasn’t appropriate. I’d go for the fried chicken only if I’m planning to order from them again.

We had a wonderful time at Bonchon, a new favorite for us! Our waitress (I'm so sorry I do not remember her name) was wonderful. We got the mystery shot which was very tasty and a fun addition to our meal. Everything tasted delicious. Service was fast, food came out fast, reasonably priced. Highly recommend

The food was fantastic—perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor, and served hot and fresh. It’s clear that Bonchon takes pride in delivering quality with every dish.
