I performed here on Sun Aug 4 for a matinee show with my good friends, The Imposers and Turkey Vulture. While the attendance was not spectacular, the vibe was great and we were all grooving to the music. The staff here is very accommodating and helpful to the musicians, and they got a solid sound system here. I will most certainly come back to cafe nine next time I'm out this way in March 2025!

I'm so glad I found a new location to replace the alternative bar/club I frequented in South Florida. It's hard to find a proper alternative-goth venue, and this place hits the mark. Special props to their DJs on goth nights; they're willing to play requests when approached respectfully, and their normal set-lists are great.

Very cool atmosphere with good musical acts, but they need to do something about the bathrooms, girls need more than 1 stall! Any time I have to go to the bathroom i could end up waiting 20+ minutes. Also they stop letting people in at a certain point when they “reach capacity” yet when people leave they do not allow more in. I had friends show up later on in the night and wait outside only to be rejected although I could clearly see the club was much less crowded than it had been earlier in the evening. Not sure if my friends weren’t dressed “hip” enough or what, but our whole group ended up leaving because of it.
