This foot tasted and felt like home. It was delicious and really took me back to good old fashioned island food. Definitely going to go more often.

Today was my first time there and i am so happy i decided to stop! This is the best Spanish food I've been able to find so far in New haven. The women were friendly, and i was even given a tres leche cake that was amazing. Okkkk! Finally! Thank you 🥰
Oh and that honey chicken is definitely on point!

I’m from NYC, Washington heights to be precise and the food here reminds me of home. It’s probably one of the best Spanish food spots in the area. The food is always well seasoned and good.

I don’t know if these guys got new management or what, but I used to eat here all the time and it would be amazing every single time. RECENTLY THOUGH I came here and got food poisoned. The carne guisada was very dry and tasted old And the rice was hard, bland, and also tasted old. It was so gross, that I only took five bites and threw it out. I unfortunately, won’t be coming back again

Terrible customer service. I didn’t receive what I ordered, and the staff was rude and unhelpful. When I asked to speak with a manager, Natalia, they refused. On top of that, the food was disgusting—it even came with what looked like chicken feces. Completely unacceptable.

I went to this establishment 2 times the 1st time I went I got there baked chicken rice and peas and plantains which was so good. The second time I went I got their rice and beans goat meat and plantains again the food was good. My job will also be getting food cater by them and they have some reasonable prices for catering and they deliver. The staff is very and nice and pleasant. They even offer me and my coworker to try some tres leche cake which I’m not a fan of but It was nice of them to offer us a piece to try for the 1st time

Their food setup was organized in a way that it was pleasing to the eyes. Their food was seasoned to perfection.
The food wasn’t worth it. First I was charged $21.59 on top of $18.06 for a canceled order. Which was exactly the same order-it was no sweat off their backs-they lost nothing.
I think they could have at least gave me the food - instead they kept the money and food!! A woman from the restaurant called me-asking why I reordered, she then knew it was my order, and specifically asked if I canceled the 1st- I said yes. Well, my card was charged for both! I called back- asking for the food if I was gonna be charged and she said the order is on the way- Where’s the integrity? ESP they served me a bunch of fat instead of the pork shoulder MEAT. So a total of 40$ I got one lunch and avocado salad. Don’t get me started on how small that is..
It was 1st time eating here and last. It’s so disappointing. I’ll keep ordering from Collado restaurant on Washington Ave. They serve big portions, food is on point, convenient location and price is more than fair.
To the restaurants reply-Uber took nothing. You got the money. Nothing was ever returned.
Amazing food! All the food very tasty! Amazing vibes! Friendly staff! Recommend and will visit again. Usually don't do reviews but the food was great! Will visit again!

Incredible food, lasagna and Pastelon were my favorite. Great selection of Spanish food. Dessert was also amazing, try the Tres Leche cake and the Dulce de Leche Flan. Overall must do if you’re in the New Haven area and want authentic Spanish food for a reasonable price.

Ain’t no comparison when it’s comes down to Latin food in Connecticut.. I swear if I go to this plate and they don’t have goat or the beets ribs I might cry
