Had my bridal shower here - everything was absolutely perfect! James was super helpful and responsive throughout the entire booking and planning process. The staff during the event were wonderful and the food was amazing. Couldn’t have asked for a better event!
6:00 Friday night. As expected place was packed, noise level was ridiculous, service was catch as catch can. Food, as always, was good. Would not repeat.
Food is always delicious!!! Ed makes the best mango margaritas! Great place to meet friends. Love the vibe.
From the moment of entrance, you know that you are in an extremely popular venue. Locals are joined by those seeking a destination restaurant. The decor is fun and the music is lively. Good to see that Happy Hour was extended to 6PM so that people who actually work regular business hours are able to advantage themselves. The menu never disappoints and the specials that are offered are great and creative additions. While the food is authentic, one must make note of the artistic and attractive presentation. Camacho's is fun!
Food was fantastic!! Very fresh and authentic. Drinks are very pricey though. $18 for a mojito and same for a margarita.
We love the feel at Camacho Garage and have always looked forward to going. This last visit was a bit disappointing the portions have shrunk and prices the same. last year and always before you got 3 tacos now 2 for the same price. The chicken enchiladas had very little flavor with too much cinnamon after taste, we sent them back. The margaritas are wonderful in flavor but the short glass is filled with ice so at $16.00 they are not worth it. Our server was lovely and took the enchiladas off the bill with out asking.
Great service and food. I've been a few times.

Food and service was excellent. We went with a large party of teenagers and the service was very prompt and attentive.

Portions are small. Parking is terrible. Taste is very bland. Prices are high forbportion size. Happy hour is a bait and switch deal.

Camacho is a great authentic Mexican restaurant. The guacamole is not just guacamole. It has so much flavor and is so tasty.

As first time customers, the wait staff took advantage of us. Their first question, still or sparkling water? Lo and behold our still water sets us back $9. If you are looking to sample their salsas, be wary that you do not receive enough chips to finish them… four more corn tortillas costs you another $4. The food was delicious but EVERYTHING comes with markups. Visit if someone else is paying for you or if you don’t value money.

Small portions and rather expensive. The Al pastor is also quite hard and the tacos were soggy

a real gem! this spot does a very stylish take on mexican food that tastes great and gets the fundamentals right. prices are moderate but not outrageous, especially compared to similar spots like geronimo's downtown (btw this place is WAY better than geronimo's lol). we came here on a monday night so it wasn't very busy and we got good service. here's what we had:
1. totopo kit: each of the three salsas this came with were so good and different from each other! the salsa verde was a standout for being so bright and fresh. the others were properly spicy too, which i appreciated. a very strong start!
2. tacos: we had the pulpo+chorizo, salmon, and al pastor. each kind was packed with flavor and done so well! i was skeptical that octopus and chorizo would go so well together, but the textures made for a delightful experience with the right amount of chew. pineapple slices in the al pastor were browned on the outside, juicy on the inside. all ingredients seasoned perfectly. incredible.
3. sides: rice and beans, fried plantains. basics done as well as you could ask for! possibly the only items that we felt were a tad overpriced, but still worth it for us.
4. dulce de leche lava cake (a special) + tres leches. good god. the hot dulce de leche flowing out the cake was divine, and no sweeter than needed for such an intense flavor. paired nicely with the mild coffee ice cream it came with. tres leches with banana ice cream was a joy; the berries mixed with shredded mint took it to the next level.
5. hibiscus aguas frescas were bright and tasty! exactly what we wanted to go with everything.
tl;dr: this is our new favorite taco spot. everything from salsa to dessert to drinks knocked it out of the park. it's clear that whoever designed the recipes did so with an attention to detail that's rare to find in restaurants below the fine dining price point. we'll be coming here more frequently for sure!

Really enjoyed Camacho Garage, from their food and the atmosphere. Each visit, I've had a great experience, and enjoyed the flavorful food and drinks. Parking is a bit tough, but overall the spot is great!
