Good food and cocktails, very nice servers, buzzy ambience so not great for deep conversation. Take out not so good--these dishes don't travel well. But one of New Haven's best conceived and operated restaurants.

Every time I come here I'm never disappointed. The happy hour is one of the best happy hours I've been too. The service is impeccable. The shrimp cerviche was really good too, just need more tortilla chips on the side! Helps soak up the delicious sauce it comes with. The street corn (elote) amazing. Awesome place!

Food and drinks are 10/10 but over priced for the amount of food given. I order the tacos de birria which only comes with 2 tacos for $18 no sides or anything. Everyone that works here is very nice and checked in with you frequently, which I loved. Newer Hispanic and pop music was played. It was enjoyable I came during happy hour and the happy hour menu was very limited so don't expect to get a real good deal unless you like what's being offered. I would come back for a quick bite not anything special. I do wonder how lit the vide is at night, so I will come back and let you guys know what I think!
Overpriced, overly salted food. Drinks are ok, nothing to write home about. People are kind and I like the ambiance.

genuinely felt crazy looking at this menu and seeing a steak quesadilla costing $30 ($18 for just cheese + $12 for steak lol), street corn $10, and a SIDE of sour cream $2. i understand we gotta pay the bills but man, you can get just as incredible, good, authentic mexican food for a fraction of the price literally anywhere else.

We got chips/salsa and the made at table Guac as apps. Wife and daughter ordered 2 tacos each - one chicken and one fish. They are loaded up and seasoned well. I had the Posole Verde (photo). I’ve never had this and found it quite tasty. The food was delicious and filling. Service was very good, and always with a smile. It does get busy - make reservations.

I used to be a regular here, enjoyed the spicy margaritas and loved the food. Went here a couple of days ago to see that their already overpriced NEW ENGLAND margarita which is already $14 (a steep price to begin with for a margarita) has now been changed to $15!!! Two margaritas and you’ve already racked up a bill for $30. Now I’m seeing that they got rid of three tacos for $13 and it’s only 2 for $10. Absolutely ridiculous and pretentious with the pricing. I had better tasting margaritas with authentic fresh ingredients in Puerto Rico and they were cheaper than this.
