Was visiting New Haven last weekend (from Brooklyn) and had the pleasure of eating at Olmo not once, not twice, but three times!! For breakfast, every morning of my visit. The bagels so good, the menu so mouthwatering, the people so kind and welcoming— I couldn’t stay away! And I’m still thinking about it a week later…

The first morning I got the Hot Pastrami. It is, and i cannot stress this enough, DELICIOUS! A generous helping of pastrami—rivaling...

Olmo is the best bagelry in Connecticut, I’m pretty sure. The delicious options and combinations are endless. Try “The Gregory” which is an everything bagel with egg, cheese, bacon, and bacon jam. (Note that all these options are real but sadly The Gregory not an official menu name…yet. I will patiently wait.)

We like to get a bakers dozen and schmear from Olmo on Whitney or on Saturdays at the Wooster Square farm market. Or one of those delicious sandwiches...
