Unfortunately this place is just not very good. Pretty poor selection of wine in a somewhat bizarre atmosphere. With a little bit more effort, it could be a much welcomed addition to the going-out options in East Rock, but for now you’re better off drinking at home.

I feel like this place is close to having the vibe that they want to have (a cute/classy French wine bar), but for me it's ruined by a few fixable things. Some things I noticed were a TV that's always on, music that doesn't fit the ambiance, closing at 10 when Google says they close at 11, or other small things that August nailed like having paper menus instead of plastic. Years ago they had some live music that was great (piano/a woman singing French songs), would love to see that again!

Everything about this place is great! I do a lot of traveling and this is now one of my top places! The wine selection, atmosphere, seating, charcuterie selection, all are A+ for me which says a lot.

One of our favorite wine bars in the area. They are extremely knowledgeable and the atmosphere is extremely relaxed. Highly recommended for all levels of wine enthusiasts!

Cozy and cute. Food was excellent. Cheese board was delicious. A little dark and cold. My teenager picked this place for dessert fondue. White sangria was delicious.

We stopped in here and the gentleman was so friendly and very knowledgeable about the wine. The wine he helped me choose was perfect! The inside is unique, clean and warm and inviting.

Went for an appetizer and a couple glasses of wine, early evening. The restaurant only had one other table occupied. When I went to pay, the server had charged me an extra drink, when I pointed it out he got pissed, jerked the check out of my hand, and told me I needed to hurry up and leave as if they had customers lined up around the corner or that I had been there too long. I told him I would leave as soon as he fixed my check. I don’t know what his problem was. There were zero issues leading up to his outburst just as I was leaving. I guess he was mad he could dupe me into an extra drink? So he got a 0% tip for himself. I’ve seen a lot of other reviews about how abhorrent the servers are here.

Cozy atmosphere, really extensive wine list and comprehensive tasting notes. I love to do a wine flight (3 2 oz. glasses) and do a blind tasting with a partner, then try to match them to the wine based off of the tasting notes. We also tried the chocolate lava cake, which was decent and a good pairing with the drinks. Service was attentive and excellent. A wonderful experience overall, and an underrated gem in the neighborhood.

If you don't like small places that can get loud, it may not be for you. That said, a little place with some really good food (those pulled pork street tacos were amazing), and a bartender in competition for best in town. Prices are very reasonable. They are almost apologetic on their website about their small kitchen, but I didn't have to wait much to get my food.Solid recommend.

The bartender, Stefan, THE BEST. His personality is a vibrant concoction of charm and wit, infusing the bar with an infectious energy. With each pour, he serves not just drinks but a side of banter that keeps patrons engaged and entertained. A maestro behind the bar and a captivating host, his charisma turns every visit into a memorable experience. You'll find yourself not just savoring the wine he ever so carefully selected, but also savoring the delightful moments he effortlessly crafts throughout the evening. This place is a gem!
