Why go to this bar for attitude from bartenders who think they are bartenders at a happening NYC bar? Exactly... you get what you pay for. $8 gets you in. Attitude and lame crowd gets you out.

This bar was actually fun at one point. No, seriously. A few years ago Center St. was actually a place I could go hang out at. They had decent music and was a normal bar. Yeah, there were still douche bags there sometimes, but overall it was fine. Now? It's either ghetto night or gay night. Seeing as how I'm neither, I avoid this place like the plague. Either way, the place sucks.

so much fun . . . i go on Thursdays but mostly Fridays for their alternative nights. its a really cool crowd, no drama. for the most part always gets pretty packed too. good drink specials. if anyone remembers when oracle had gay Friday nights, it reminds me alot of that.

CSL, rules! Industrial, Austere goodness. I already loved 9th square, now I have more reason. Great drinks, Great staff. Fun music. Great scene. Perfectly designed, even the stainless steel bathrooms are top notch. I fully support local businesses with 'real- life' owners. As a patron you can feel the love that goes into the place (nice to actually see it on the owner's faces).. You can go to CSL, and actually stay there the entire night, and have "one of those nights" where everyone has fun but no-one gets hurt. The best without trying too hard to be... ie Effortlessly Cool.
