Been going to Chacra for a while now. This is one of the best Peruvian restaurants in Connecticut. Not to mention they have a great outdoor space. The lomo saltado was on point, the ceviche was delicious that we have to get a second one. The servers here are always very nice. And the space has a lot of nice decors. I've come here with large parties as well. Their cocktails are crafted to perfection specially the pisco sours Highly recommend, will be back.

Great place that I have to comeback for second time. The ceviche and veal heart anticuchos are my new favorite Peruvian apps, the parihuella was exquisite, piscos are well crafted and outstanding service. Highly recommend

Our server/hostess had a very flat personality, never checked on us and stayed behind the bar on her phone the entire time we were there. Food was good, not great, heavy on the salt. Drinks were good, also not great.

Went there for my birthday on Saturday…. The atmosphere was very nice. Drinks really good. Music even better . Was having a good time until one of the bartenders told us to move in a rude way. No we have been dancing and coming back to the same spot at the bar so it was empty . Y ask us to move how abt the couple next to us. Or other people that have been standing there the same amount of time or longer. Not sure if I’ll go back which is really bad . 1 person can really ruin the way u see a place.

The service was great the waiter was super patient and nice. When we arrived it was pretty empty but not long after multiple groups walked in. Noise level was perfect and the decorations and just the place itself was very pretty. Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed the food here it was delicious. 10/10

Food was very good! Most of us finished our entire plates as I would say the portions are a little smaller than other Peruvian places we have been too. I wouldn't mind but prices are steep! The guys were looking for more food a couple hours later. The drinks here are ok- taste good but overpriced and after multiple I started to think they left the liquor out. Eventually switched to wine and got a very small pour. Later we came back for the music/nightlife and had a different bartender and noticed the wine pour was much more appropriate. Overall would come back for sure but for another special occasion or for the nightlife

Good Peruvian food. Wide variety of pisco-based drinks. A convenient stop for a dinner going to the Shubert Theatre.

We drove half an hour to be simply disappointed, the huancaina potato on the verge of spoiling, the grilled chicken was saved until the fries were not fresh, the chicha morada in a jar was half ice and the rest of the chicha was actually There was a lack of sugar, the good anticuchos allowed themselves to eat the churros if they were very tasty and the rest of the food was normal.

The starters were alright, but the main dishes were underwhelming. Both the salmon bowl and pork belly with rice lacked any noteworthy flavors and were quite bland. If you're looking for distinctive and flavorful food, this place may not be the best fit. Unfortunately, one of our party members fell ill, possibly due to the potato and chicken salad being past its freshness. On a positive note, the cocktails and drinks were enjoyable, and the service was attentive and friendly.

We celebrated a friend’s birthday party at Chacra. They served our entire party of 30 at the same time and the food was great! The atmosphere was nice and we hanged after singing happy birthday.

Gloomy Monday Night In New Haven with the weather but the cocktails, a strawberry caprioska, crafted by Walter, the manager/owner along with the beef heart skewers off the dinner menu made for the perfect night off and evening, a quick way to turn your day around. A great staple and go to spot if your at Yale and/or in downtown New Haven.

We ordered a lomo saltado and it did not taste like real authentic lomo saltado. For some reason la causa was green? The ceviche was alright. But for the price you can go visit other Peruvian restaurants that cost half as these dishes and will taste more authentic. The place is pretty but needs to work on authentic Peruvian flavor
