We drove half an hour to be simply disappointed, the huancaina potato on the verge of spoiling, the grilled chicken was saved until the fries were not fresh, the chicha morada in a jar was half ice and the rest of the chicha was actually There was a lack of sugar, the good anticuchos allowed themselves to eat the churros if they were very tasty and the rest of the food was normal.

The starters were alright, but the main dishes were underwhelming. Both the salmon bowl and pork belly with rice lacked any noteworthy flavors and were quite bland. If you're looking for distinctive and flavorful food, this place may not be the best fit. Unfortunately, one of our party members fell ill, possibly due to the potato and chicken salad being past its freshness. On a positive note, the cocktails and drinks were enjoyable, and the service was attentive and friendly.

We celebrated a friend’s birthday party at Chacra. They served our entire party of 30 at the same time and the food was great! The atmosphere was nice and we hanged after singing happy birthday.

Gloomy Monday Night In New Haven with the weather but the cocktails, a strawberry caprioska, crafted by Walter, the manager/owner along with the beef heart skewers off the dinner menu made for the perfect night off and evening, a quick way to turn your day around. A great staple and go to spot if your at Yale and/or in downtown New Haven.

We ordered a lomo saltado and it did not taste like real authentic lomo saltado. For some reason la causa was green? The ceviche was alright. But for the price you can go visit other Peruvian restaurants that cost half as these dishes and will taste more authentic. The place is pretty but needs to work on authentic Peruvian flavor

The food was terrible ,everything we ordered ! The chaufa rice was disgusting like if they left it for days ,tasted like crease ? I don’t know how can you mess up empanadas ?

Great experience, the place was really nice, had a good atmosphere, the employees were nice, and the food came out pretty fast. I got the Lomo Saltado and de leche tigre, it was amazing, highly recommend it. A little bit pricey but it's worth it for the quality of food.

If you're looking for authentic and sophisticated Peruvian cuisine, chacra pisco-bar is the spot. The dishes are fresh and beautifully presented and the staff are top notch, profesional and friendly. The bar has a big variety of pisco and the bartender is as knowledgeable about all of them. It's a true hidden gem and I highly recommend it.

Four of us had dinner at Chakra. We dined at 6:30 on a weekday evening. And it was very quiet. There was a soccer game on TV and the restaurant got much busier as the evening progressed. We have spent time in Peru and were hoping that we would find the food at Chakra authentic. It was and we loved everything. We will happily return.

We came here with the whole family around the holidays after the show at Shubert's. Great food and drinks, and an amazing atmosphere. If you want to step into a tropical ambience in the middle of the winter without taking a flight, this is the place. Their staff is also very friendly and attentive.
