YASSSSSSS THEY GAVE ME 10 POTATOES AS U CAN SEE IN THE PIC"(SUPPOSE TO BE HOMFRIES)" WHEN OUR FOOD CAME OUT IT WAS COLD they served my sister RAW PORK BACON THEY REFUSED TO COMP THE BILL, EVENTHOUGH WE DID NOT EAT ANY OF IT...THE WAITRESS SAID WE COOKED IT SO WE HAD TO PAY FOR IT WE DIDN'T WANT TO CAUSE AN COMOTION IM THERE , SO ABVIOUSLY WE PAID THE BILL....THE WAITRESS TOOK 25MINS TO TAKE OUR ORDER AND TOOK HER 20MINS TO BRING OUR FOOD AND IT WAS ONLY 6PPL DINING IN INCLUDING US...SHE GAVE US LUKE WARM WATER IN DOLLAR STORE PLASTIC CUP I CAN NOT MAKE THIS UP...AND MY SISTER HAD RED STUFF FLOATING IN HERS. ..NOW!!!!!! IF ANYTHING THIS WAS 2025 DIABOLICAL BEHAVIOR MEN LIE WOMEN LIE BUT RECIEPTS DONT LIE....I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACEđđŒ
I got the Final Exam (eggs scrambled, turkey sausage, pancakes and home fries). My eggs werenât scrambled and were fried instead, similar to an omelette texture. Home fries were cold and they gave a small amount. They put whipped cream and chocolate syrup on my pancakes even though I didnât ask for it so I had to get them sent back (also was not informed of those being on top). They also charge $3 for water. If you want breakfast, I donât recommend this spot.

We live an hour from New Haven, so I was excited to try a new restaurant in the city. We did a google search and decided on Chaps Grille for breakfast. We walked in and were sat at a wobbly table. The waitress clearly noticed how unbalanced it was but didnât care to address it. After she took our drink order we slid to the next table down. They had the door propped open and it was cold and windy. Everyone inside was wearing their jacket, youâd think the staff would notice customers werenât comfortable and close it, but no. So we kept our jackets on. Iâve never had fried chicken and waffles and was excited to see it on the menu. I chose that. My fiancĂ© chose Chapâs omelette. I had ordered an OJ and he ordered a chocolate milk. The drinks were bottled and served without glasses. When the food arrived I was excited to dig in, it looked great. I ate the eggs off the top first, delicious. Everything went down hill from there. The chicken was clearly store bought frozen fried chicken, cooked to the point of being rock hard, with poor flavor. I took one bite. The Belgium waffle was soft, lacking the crisp edges you hope for in a waffle and tasted like white bread, no sweetness at all. Terrible! The home fries were good, I got about four of them. The dish was a total let down. My finance enjoyed his omelette and offered to share with me, I agree his dish was tasty. When the waitress came over we requested our check and a box. She brought over the check along with a barcode for us to leave a review. We decided maybe we shouldnât do a review as our experience wasnât great. My fiancĂ© paid cash and placed it right in the check holder. We headed to our car. The waitress then followed us outside and accused us of not paying. My fiancĂ© said âwe paid cash, itâs in the check holder..â. She walked over and grabbed the check holder and said âoh, thank you.â .. not âsorryâ or âmy mistakeâ. I then walked back in and scanned the barcode to leave a review. We obviously wonât be back.
