Unfortunately food was not as advertised. Seems like they are relying on their past laurels and now that the area is mostly tourists, the quality doesn't seem to be a priority. The same for Libby's next door. Went there for dessert and it was terrible.

As always this is our favorite night out in New Haven. The food is always amazing and the service is the best. From the time we parked we were greeted with a smile and a friendly conversation. Love the patio on a beautiful summer night. Now better place to be .

This is our overall favorite and the meals were excellent from the Cauliflower Flatbread to the shrimp cocktail to start. Chicken Rosa is my wife's favorite and she devoured. My son's had Chicken Picata and Shrimp Picata and they throughly enjoyed. I had the Veal Margherita, and I love it. Only negative was a large group of kids and family in the front and we did not enjoy the noise from the group, but thankfully they left at 7. Still an amazing place.

Always excellent, this is one of our favorite restaurants in New Haven. On this visit we sat in the patio outside in the back for the first time. Very pleasant space on a beautiful evening. Service is always great. The food is traditional but not heavy, the pasta sauces are particularly good.

My family loves Consiglio's, especially when the weather warms up and their outside seating area is available. Their food and drinks are truly outstanding in a city famous for its Italian food. And what's even better, they can accommodate diners with celiac disease or gluten intolerance. Their homemade GF pasta is the best I've ever had.

Huge portions and excellent food. 100% recommend! We got: Mussels, Fried Mozzarella, Chicken Rosa, Chicken Parm, Lasagna, and Pasta Bolganase. Everything was amazing.
