I must say this was my first time. I read the reviews and thought maybe I could try it. I am so disappointed that I spent nearly $40 and it is just not palatable. I ordered oxtail, rice and peas and jerk chicken. Jerk chicken isn’t done on the grill with the actual jerk sauce (I should have quit when I heard this). The oxtail is hard and the rice omg tasted like white rice and peas, where is the coconut milk???? When I say I have tasted both and couldn’t continue, I mean it. As Jamaican, who is looking to capture bits of home, this is a poor representation.

My son got me oxtails and it was super doucey like drenched on scotch Bonnet could not eat it had bones in it should at least tell people it was Spicey had ketchup in it to make it sweet did not eat it will not go back curry chicken was dry don’t waste your money

Visiting the state and tried a few other places and this place is by far one of the best. Friendly professional and price is very reasonable. When I visit or passing by this state I will definitely stop. It’s a must have.

I've been going to her for years ! Customer service is always amazing & I known this truck for over 7 years! Today I tried their oxtails and they were absolutely amazing! Flavorful & tender so much sauce. And the portion of oxtails were amazing ! 10/10 overall great price every time! I would have posted my food but I ate it so fast ! Please go visit this truck! You won't regret it. Cool running keep up the great work!

I currently don’t live in CT but this is like my go to for Jamaican food. I found it by working at Napa auto parts and completely fell in love with like the lady who runs it and the people that work for her. They’re always super polite and very thorough and professional, and for anyone to write about review on this woman is absolutely ridiculous. This woman works very hard and puts love in her food And I taste it every single time. I buy her food so I’m glad that she opened up a business like this because she was meant to do this.

I live not far from this place and highly recommend to anyone that loves good Caribbean food to give them a visit. The staff is awesome and the food truck is very clean which is extremely important to me. Currently located on State Street in New Haven. Worth the trip.
Parking: This is a good truck so parking is mostly on the street parking but there is a small parking lot to stop in as long as it is not being occupied.

I recently had the pleasure of indulging in the most tender, flavorful, and succulent oxtail dish that has left me craving for more. Generous serving, ideal for sharing (but you won't want to!) Price is reasonable, considering the quality and quantity.
If you're an oxtail aficionado or just looking to try something new, this food truck is an absolute must try! Don't be shy to ask for extra gravy – you'll want it! Will I return?Absolutely.
