Costa Pizza is one of my top 3 favorite pizza restaurants in New Haven. I stopped into Costa one day back in 2015 when my co-workers and i were looking for a quick bite to eat on a break from a work training. I grabbed a couple of slices and they were so good. I have been frequently visiting ever since. The food is always fresh, hot, delicious and prepared with love. Their menu is vastly accommodating with food options of all types. From wings (and other appetizers), to their delicious traditional and specialty pizzas, to wraps - paninis - subs/sandwiches, hearty salads, to pasta dishes, and even Vegan and Gluten free options. One of our favorites (which we order every single time) is their Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza. Topped with seasoned Chix breast, chopped beef bacon, Gorgonzola crumbles, shredded Mozzarella cheese, their house Ranch dressing and baked to perfection... Chefs kiss. We alway order a Large with the crust not too well done. Outside of the amazing food, staff is always very friendly, personable and welcoming. I had recently ordered a pizza and went to add some crushed red pepper. I didn't realize the whole lid was loose adn the entire shaker of pepper went onto my slices. I was willing to just tough it out but Moudy (the owner) made me a new pizza, without me asking. You can't beat that kind of service. They open til midnight which is great for those late night cravings and the prices are very reasonable. 10 out of 10 across the board
