Changed hands. Not the Dozo I loved. No beer when we went. Sushi wrap so tough could not eat. No tomago “ran out, on order”. Gyoza oily. No hot towel. New menu confusing Asian fusion. No longer a true Japanese restaurant. I shall not return.

The food and service here are exceptional. I appreciated that the chef honored my request for tofu instead of chicken or shrimp for the yaki udon, which was delicious. And the price was super reasonable.

Excellent quality sushi. I had the initial roll and 4 seasons. The service was a bit slow, despite being near-empty. The price is high; I paid over $50 for two rolls and a salad.

I feel uncomfortable when eating there cause everytime I come to eat on a weekly basis and doesn’t matter what day I come, these two young girls always watch people eat including me if they’re not doing anything. I’d like it if they can be away from the counters not watching us eat til we finish. It’s just making me feel uncomfortable. I’m always waiting to eat until they don’t watch me and then I have to stop eating when they watch again until they move somewhere else again. Feon was the best and never did this so much before the two new girls I think took over her. Feon I need back and was the best and better. The food is otherwise excellent.

We got sushi for 2. Nothing special. The spicy tuna did not taste fresh, and we threw all of it out after having one bite each. If you're desperately hungry, I suppose it's fine. But I wouldn't go back.

I've been to many sushi places in CT before. This is by far the best that I have tried. Great proportions. Fair pricing. The fatty tuna sashimi is out of this world. My only criticism is the floor when you initially walk in can be cleaner. Other than that, the food and atmosphere is great !
