I've ordered here twice in the last week, once in-store and once for pickup through the Everyday app. Here's both stories:

In-store: Line was short, but pricing was egregious. All drinks cost about 50% higher than at other locations (e.g., around $6 for my usual large cold brew instead of $4). For that reason I settled for a medium iced coffee instead (lol), though that was marked up about the same too. However, the service and the drink itself was on par with other Dunkins.

Pickup: I installed Everyday a few days later after my experience ordering in-store, to see if the prices were somehow any more normal there. Surprisingly, they are, so after one of my classes today I placed an order to pick up in 5 minutes, then walked over. On my way there, I was watching the timer on the app tick down from 5 minutes, and at around 2 minutes left the screen changed to say my order was done already -- meaning they must have pressed some button at the store for it to update like that before the timer was up. But when I walked in some moments later and got to the counter -- lo and behold -- no drinks in sight. I waited at the pick-up area at the end of the counter for about another 5 minutes before someone finally came over to help; I showed them the receipt on my phone and told them my drink had been listed as ready, and they looked at me like I just got here on a spaceship from Mars. Despite the fact that my order was literally confirmed by them on my way there. A few seconds go by of me trying to explain this online order to the person when some other lady (shift leader?) stepped in and said, verbatim, "just make it for him." So I had to read off my order again to the worker I was originally talking to and wait for them to finally actually make it. At last my drink came out, it was a little stronger than usual, but still at least what you could expect from a normal location.

So overall, not the ideal Dunks experience, but if you'd prefer paying a few extra dollars or struggling against incompetent employees over a walk/drive through questionable parts of New Haven for a more consistent location, then this spot might just be right for you, lol.

Other things to note are that, since this is a university-run location, it's technically not an official Dunkin franchise, so you can't use your rewards/coupons here AFAIK. You can, however, use dining dollars to pay, either by scanning your university ID (in-store) or by linking your meal plan to the Everyday app (pickup).

Doesn’t take gift cards. Doesn’t respect veteran discount or specials. Always tweaking. Go to Starbucks or another location

The is the worst Dunkin Donuts on the face of the planet.. they need to be shut down. They don’t know how work the new system Dunkin has implemented, the customer service is horrible, the wait time is atrocious

Very rude and abusive customer service. Once, members were arguing and a fight almost broke out.I had a friend who go coffee there every day and some staff members were saying stuff about his disability and calling her names behind her back. It was sad because they would give her free things and act like their her friends too.Stay away from terrible these human beings.

The Midnight Spectrum Club

Poor customer service, and there was an incident where the employees almost broke into a fight and we’re arguing in front of customers. Management is undermining and doesn’t handle employees well. Many employees will be friendly to you and then spread rumors. They’re very entitled and they do have bait and switch kindness, s***** you in and then say terrible things about you.

This location doesn't honor the free donut for veterans on Veterans Day. Lame.

Seriously the worst DD on the planet, the people they hire are d*** as rocks and rude. They stand around talking to each other, when they finally acknowledge you, you have to repeat what you want 5 times before they get it, takes them like 10 minutes to toast a bagel... which is obvious when you get it because it is burnt to a crisp... and they can't mix coffee for their lives. I gave them a couple of chances, but I can confidently say none of them are qualified even to work food service. If you are a commuter, go to the DD on the corner of fitch and blake if you really want it, otherwise stick with the on campus stores in Engleman and Davis... pretty good coffee and breakfasts available there already made, no wait, hassle or rudeness.

Some of the employees have poor customer service and are put out when you interrupt their downtime. Have received cold food and old coffee on multiple occasions.
