I loved the layout and decor of the restaurant. However, I was unimpressed with the food. The food wasn't very flavorful and had lots of various sauces on top that were just too heavy. The music was too loud which made having conversations hard.

Ive been wanting to go to this restaurant for a while now after passing it so many times and seeing it usually always packed. The menu is fairly extensive and quite unique. Overall the service and food are good I just felt perhaps the ingredients used could’ve been better and the portions a little bigger. I’d recommend getting multiple plates to share so you can try more of the menu and because just one item will probably not be enough for most people.

Julie is an amazing new manager! I have been going to this place since they opened, I have never seen it packed to full capacity untilMay 5th. The food is great & the price is great. The service is fast & the employees are friendly! In the past they had high turn over but Julie is doing a great job managing the place! Go visit her, she is sweet, friendly & definitely very talented!

I've lived in New Haven for a couple of years now, and this has been the least enjoyable place I have dined so far. The food was very sub-par and very clearly frozen from box, with a similar price point to MUCH NICER resturaunts I have dined elsewhere in this city. (The chicken empanadas were dry and bland). We each got different cocktails, and they all just tasted like watery juice with a splash of cheap liquor in them. (Our faces were unusually rosey from just one drink) The drinks did not have a lot of complexity in flavors for a similar cost to other really good bars in the area. The servers were nice and quick when ordering our food, but we waited nearly 40 minutes (and several attempts of flagging people down) after finishing our food before having to ask someone else for our check. I need to emphasize that our server was not busy, they were just not attentive and spent a lot of time sitting up at the host stand chatting with coworkers, chatting with the bar tender, and sitting on their phone. We even tried politely flagging them down several times. Overall, I dont recommend eating here. Its a lovely location, and they have room to grow, but at the moment, there are quite a few things that need some work before I would ever dine here again.

Our table was given away even though we were on time for our 7pm reservation. Also, the 2 women behind us had the same issue. The hostess told us that earlier parties did not show up so they gave those tables to them. They sat us at the counter in front of the kitchen which was fine. However, we had to ask the manager if we had a server after waiting 15 minutes. Once our drink order was taken we never received our drinks after waiting an additional 25 minutes. It seemed very disorganized. The manager was standing by the kitchen eating and drinking a beer the entire time. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else. Very unprofessional and disappointing.

The food is really good the place is really nice, however went to take my lady on a date as we were being seated they said we had to go because they had a private event which is OK but I didn't understand why they let us in in the first place, very uncomfortable experience.

Interesting and tasty food in an energetic atmosphere. Love the concept, street food from around the world. Every dish we tried was at least decent, most were very good! Server was friendly, attentive, and informative. A fun night out in New Haven. Will be back.

It was amazing! I love looking for new and fun restaurants and this was definitely a good find. I will 100% be back and I don't even live in Connecticut. The staff was amazing and the owners were very friendly and happy to chat with us! There wasn't a single food item on the menu that I didn't want to try and they had all my favorite drinks. Definitely a must try!!

I really liked this place! It seemed to have character. Relatively dark ambiance, popular spot with lots of people but seating available, had fitting music.
Hands down one of my favorite places! The staff is unbelievably friendly and accommodating, the food is incredible and the venue is super cool! I'm already thinking about my next visit and can't wait for the warmer months to sit at the outside bar!!

Great scenery , music was a vibe for sure. Got the All you can eat tacos for $20pp , shrimp was my favorite, al pastor was second, the brisket was dry I dont recommend, chicken personally wasnt my favorite either. The sauces are good. Fries were great . Elotes were so fresh and delish. Something they wont tell you is that the soda isnt free refill . Didnt find out until I got the check.. customer service was great to an extent , I went on Valentines day so I understand seating was needed but I felt as if they wanted me out Asap . Couldnt just sit and relax and let my food digest for a second.. otherwise I will be back and recommend others to go try as the food is good, prices arent horrible and the different options of food is cool .

Who doesn't love really good street food? The Chicharron and Mofongo bowl was pure perfection! Do not be fooled by the size of the bowl either. I would've loved to eat it all myself but it's a nice size portion so I had to share. The pork is prepared to perfection!Chicken and waffles is always a go to especially when they're as delicious as the ones at El segundo!Had to finish off with dessert! The fried Oreos we so rich and went together perfectly with the chocolate sauce. You can't have just one. And of course, the churros! You can never go wrong with churros or ice cream so why not put then together and make dessert 100x better!I definitely have to return and try out some more goodies in the menu! Doubt this place can miss!
