The food was delicious. We had the chicken w waffles, amazing. (although we had to eat w our hands, as we never got silverware, and the server, was no where to be found ) bacon and eggs, and tacos.. all delicious. The service was poor. It took us just less than an hour to get a drink. We were in the bar area at a high top. Other tables that came in after us , received food and drink before us. The air was blowing so hard directly at our table that my hair was blowing. We asked to be moved, they said they would turn it down. I asked again, and then they closed the vent. I would go back and give it a shot, but would sit in the dining area , if possible, next time.

Very loud I ordered the chicken sliders and they were very salty so salty I couldn't eat them The server was great tho and took the sliders off the bill

Food was good. The service was great. Our waitress was friendly, attentive and pleasant. It was a little louder than I thought it would be but we were close to the bar. The tacos and salmon sliders were great. Their drinks were really good too.

Food was amazing! Service was disappointing because we were not told there was a happy hour menu and charged full price and would've preferred mix and match of sliders allowed only on happy hour menu. Second espresso martini taste was great, however drink was warm.

The manager, Anthony, did an outstanding job resolving the mix-up caused by his staff. What started as a basic birthday turned into a great experience, and I will definitely be returning.
There was an issue with my order however Anthony was amazing at correcting the issues and making the experience worth it ?!!

It took 20 minutes for a waiter to come up to us after we were seated. The water glasses were approximately 4 ounces and I was never offered a refill. The duck drink tasted extremely watered down. I was charged a higher price for several items than what was stated on the menu. Very disappointing.

Worst dining experience we’ve had in New Haven. Truly terrible service. Our food came out an hour after we were seated. People around us were cancelling their food orders and leaving because it took so long. Others were walking their checks up to the bar to pay because the server never came back to their table. And this was when the restaurant was mostly empty!

We recently stopped by to sample their cocktails and grab a small bite to eat. Wife and I ordered the ECS Classics flight and our son ordered the chicken & waffle bites. The cocktails were fantastic, each with its own unique flavor, and the chicken & waffle bites were hot and tasty. The service was good, and the atmosphere was decent. However, a large group at the bar was a bit loud, which was somewhat distracting. Overall, it was a positive experience.

We recently rented the rooftop for a birthday party. We had a great time! Brittney - the events coordinator was very responsive and accommodating. Everything was on schedule. When we arrived Anthony was very helpful and assisted us . They stored the cake and brought it up. Food was delicious. Jose and Jay were our bartenders! They were amazing! It could not have been any easier! The cost was reasonable. I would recommend Elm City Social for any event!
