Been coming here since I was a little girl. Never had a bad experience. Food always slaps even if you don’t get the pizza. Everything on the menu is bomb. Owners are great people.
Every time I stop by to get a slice I am greeted with kindness and respect and always feel welcome. It's nice they're open late. It's a great place to grab a slice on your way home after a fun night out. The pesto pizza is very tasty. Buffalo chicken is good, too. It gets crowded on weekends during the school year. Enjoy the glow from the oven and elbow in among the irrepressible chatter of the students or take your pie to go.

The name comes from a small mountain town outside of Rome (Montefiascone) and the story is posted in the restaurant. The pizza is obviously New Haven style and is pretty good, 3.5/5. Not amazing, but enjoyable. Seating setup is a little odd since the center high top table has 8ish seats so you inevitably end up sharing with strangers. Would happily go back.

The best pizza place ever. I personally will drive from west haven to New Haven just to get their food. The only place my daughter and I will eat from. They’re extremely clean and nice and always remember their customers! I love everyone that works here. If you haven’t tried their ranch bacon chicken pizza or Cesar you must it’s our favorite! Love this spot !!
