We were in town briefly for a conference at Yale Medical School and needed a quick lunch. We ambled into Family Mediterranean Pizza and were rewarded with one of the best gluten free pizzas I have ever had - absolutely delicious! Mohammed was so kind and even gave us some free baklava samples. Delicious! We would absolutely go back again.
This is the best (if not only) place in the New Haven, CT area to get authentic Levantine food, including / especially toum. Eating here brings me back to past vacations in Lebanon and the incredible food and company I enjoyed there; for those that prefer other cuisines, this place has you covered as well! Pizza, pasta, the full gamut of Mediterranean food!
The department ordered from here, and I also visited several times. Mohamed was nice enough to answer my questions and give suggestions. (He asked for a review.) Large serving sizes. Halal.

Chicken shawarma over rice: 4/5 very salty, only ok compared to NYC, but seems to be very good for New Haven. A local said it was much better over rice than as a shawarma.
