Does not have it's kitchen or service nailed down currently. Rice was dense and chewy. Fish in maki rolls was scant. Miso is too onion-y. Nice to have in the neighborhood but very un-polished and not worth the pricing.

Waited for 20 mins with no attention given. Had a menu tossed in the table, which was dirty. A couple came in 15 minutes into my wait and had their food order and drinks already given before anyone spoke to me. Will not go back.

Wow. Went in expecting a good dinner, but was beyond happy with my experience. The location is in the heart of Westville with plenty of parking options, the restaurant is lovely inside. The staff was so helpful and kind. The food looked as good as it tasted! I am not typically a miso soup fan and I couldn't get enough! A hearty broth with a tad of spice. The kani salad was amazing and I could have eaten it all day. The rolls were as delicious as they were beautiful. The chicken dishes were good, but the real star in my opinion was the sushi options. I will order more of that when I make a return trip. Definitely worth the visit!

I didn’t get a chance to sit down and eat but it looks like your typical sushi joint which is a good thing. Online ordering was convenient and my pick up was quick! Great for a healthier lunch on the go!

We had a great time at Fin and Scales, cute place with nice service. We started with the Striped Bass Carpaccio and the Salmon Spring Rolls which both tasted so fresh and were delicious. For our mains the speciality rolls were devine we enjoyed the Mt Fuji and Abundance. Can’t wait to come back and see what else the new management has in store.Dietary restrictions: KohserParking: Paid lot across the street.

Stopped here unexpectedly. The miso soup was better than average, included soft tofu, onion & mushrooms. The mongo in the in the Salmon Spring Roll created a sweet flavour in this Starter dish. The variety of flavours in the Mt Fuji fish were great. The service was very excellent; the waitress was friendly & helpful. Will try to go out of my way to stop here again.

Other sushi places usually serve dishes as soon as they are prepared. This shortens waiting and turnaround time, and eliminates omissions. Here they combined the majority of the order and served them in two big increments rather than in 6 small ones. The food was tasty, and the fish was remarkably fresh! Miso soup was rich, and definitely prepared from scratch. So, overall it was a pleasant experience.

The food was good and presented in a simple fashion. The service was minimal and a bit slow. The music was horrible & too loud.

We are here for a football camp and decided to have lunch here given the 4.5 star rating. We are from Los Angeles and are accustomed to sushi back at home. The rolls here are okay. They are smaller than what we are used to. And the flavors are not as distinct. We were surprised that there was not a lobster option. The service is friendly. Tyrell is welcoming, responsive, and accommodating. The ambiance is simple and clean.

I really hate leaving negative reviews but I feel like just like I rely on reviews so do others. So first of all for the good - the food was very very good. We were six of us and made a reservation for Sunday memorial Day 7:00 p.m. We were seated immediately and they took her drink orders immediately. The two cons - 1. I ordered a hot chocolate and after waiting quite a bit I had a feeling they were only going to bring it out after the meal for dessert but I actually had a bit of a throat ache and wanted it immediately. I called the waitress over and asked her if the hot chocolate could please be made ASAP and that I did not want to wait till after the meal. Sure absolutely no problem. Never got my hot chocolate. We finished the meal at which point I was trying to get the waitresses attention but she just was not making eye contact so I called another waitress over and asked to please cancel the hot chocolate if it wasn't being made yet. She said no problem at all at which point the original waitress overheard and came to apologize. Asked if I still wanted it and I said no we're completely done with the meal. 2. Prices are very expensive. Yes the food is good. There are not a ton of tables so when we were done eating we paid our bill and then wanted to have a few more minutes to relax at the table before we leave but we were pretty much made to feel like they need the table and we need to wrap it up and leave. I can't remember the last time I was made to feel pressured to leave especially after paying so much for the meal.
