We have been wanting to try Frisco’s for some time and finally had the chance a few days ago. It was a let down. The sauce had a great flavor, the crust had the requisite amount of char (though the dough was on the stiffer/chewier side) BUT, the mozzarella rang through as overly salty. Maybe it was an off day; will have to try them again in the future.

While getting caught in a rain downfall, we pulled in and ordered a cheese pie. This was one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time. The cheese was delicious, the cook on the crust was fantastic. You couldn’t beat it for under 11 bucks. I love Zup’s in West Haven along with the other greats New Haven is known for; But since I’ve been going here,we never had to wait no more than 15 minutes. We eat it and has always been satisfied.

Great neighborhood apizza joint. We live in New Haven, and order here regularly. You're not going to get the gourmet pizzas some folk are looking for. This is good, Old fashioned, New Haven Apizza.
If you're in the area looking for delicious pizza in New Haven, Frisco's is totally worth it. Price is right and some of the best I've had. Small place without a lot of seating but does offer delivery and a great option for takeout.

We stopped on a roadtrip based on the reviews and were planning to eat in but decided to get it to-go. The restaurant is tiny and doesn’t serve alcohol and the atmosphere is lacking. That said, the traditional crust pizza that my husband had was good. The toppings were good and generous, the sauce was also good but the crust was a bit chewier than we expected. I had a cauliflower crust pizza and I would describe it the same way as the traditional crust pizza but it was definitely the best I’ve ever had! Yay!!! The restaurant is wheelchair accessible but it’s tough to fit between the tables while in a chair.
Dietary restrictions: I 100% recommend the cauliflower crust pizza but can’t address cross contamination.
Wheelchair accessibility: A slight ramp at the entrance to easily enter but no automatic door. An employee helped me with the door. Unfortunately the tables are very close together so navigating inside is difficult.
