If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Absolutely my favorite restaurant in CT! If I lived closer I would be here every day. The whole team at Gioia was so welcoming, and the atmosphere felt like a fun dinner party at your best friends home. It’s clear there is so much thought behind every detail, from the creative cocktails, to delicious food that was easy to share. Bravo to the entire team front & back for creating such a memorable experience!

The food was alright but the waiter was very passive aggressive. We asked for a box and the check and he was very dismissive. This was some of our first times in the restaurant, and while the other waiters were nice, ours left us unhappy.

Upstairs and downstairs menus (which are different) have a great and eclectic flair. We had a great mixture of foods ordering the Pork Milanese, Bronzino, Roasted Figs, Fig Leaf Panna Cotta, Chocolate Gelato and Affogato were just to die for!
Can't wait to go back when they turn roof top bar into a festive wonderland.
