Golden Wok Chinese Restaurant

Very good, old school tasting Chinese food made hot and fresh when you order it. I’d say it’s a little bit overpriced but what isn’t these days? All I know is it’s very good taste wise. Currently my favorite Chinese food spot out of New Haven and west haven. Everything I’ve had was good but I especially like the chicken wings.

First few time there it was ok, but this third time was horrible. Fried rice tasted burt and the chicken with broccoli had no flavor at all. The first two times I just had chicken wings with fries. I guess Ill stick to that.

Ordered a healthier boneless spare ribs with no sauce and the staff were so accommodating and made this delicious combo.The food is delicious and so affordable too. They were a life saver and a perfect place for any one else celebrating Christmas with Chinese food.

They clearly do not check their orders. My fried rice tasted burnt, and my spring roll had shrimp in it. The dumpling was doughy and had a texture of one that came from a frozen boxed brand.

They insisted that this was sesame beef when it is clearly is chicken then they hung up on us. Not to mention the whole dish was just a pile of mush.

Roast pork fried rice....with about 4 microscopic pieces of pork--& the rice seemed old.Golden chicken "fingers" were more likechicken "toes"...not like other restaurants where they areactually long as your fingers...Taste was okay... not great though.about $10 bucks.

Charge $1 extra on top of price for paying with a DEBIT card without even mentioning it, called my order in and waited an extra 10-20 mins longer when I got there to pick it up. Wah Chun down the road has better quality, prices and service.
