First time dining here. Everything was wonderful....service was attentive with special appreciation for timing of drinks, appetizers and entrees. Definitely recommend

This is the best restaurant I've been to in New Haven. The ambience, food and service were excellent. I have been thinking of their spicy rigatoni since I left! Will be back soon.

Great meal a little pricey but the food was very good. Parking is a nightmare in New Haven but we had a great time.

I don't usually find myself to be a harsh critic. Especially in CT. Arancini was good! The steak dish was very poor, uneven temperature, underwhelming cut, all tasted like water truthfully, wet spinach, no balsamic shallots although listed on menu. I'll have to chalk the mediocre service up to the server juggling staff training as well but our appetizers came out before we put in our mains which I thought was quite odd. I would not return.

Beautiful restart with large fresh and delicious portions. We had the pre fixe 2 course lunch which at $25 is quite good. Service was attentive and accommodating for a gluten free diner.

Overall: 3.5/5: A warm, lively restaurant with friendly service and a few standout dishes, though the experience was mixed overall. We were a party of six celebrating a special occasion and were eager to enjoy a memorable dinner. Our server, a young lady in training, was very polite and tried her best, though the service was somewhat slow - our wine and main courses took quite a while to arrive. The restaurant was quite busy, which may have contributed to the delays. The atmosphere was vibrant but very loud, making it difficult to converse with our friends across the table. Some sound-dampening materials on the walls or ceiling would make a big difference in comfort. Drinks: Bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon, Col Solare - great wine, beautifully balanced and reasonably priced at $125. Two non-alcoholic drinks: OK Starters: Spicy Crab & Avocado Salad - fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. A real highlight. Crispy Brussels Sprouts - nicely done, with good flavor and texture. 5 stars Roasted Beets - average; flavors didn't quite come together. 2 stars Chopped Salad – disappointing, portion small and not very fresh. Octopus a la Plancha - we substituted chorizo salsa with marinara. Unfortunately, the octopus was overcooked, and the dish didn't work for us. (No stars given, but not recommended.) MAIN COURSES Braised Beef Ragu (2 orders) - Neither dish was finished; sauce flavor was off. Bistro Filet - Cooked well, flavorful, though not exceptional. 4 stars Branzino a la Plancha (2 orders) - outstanding. Perfectly cooked, delicate, and delicious. 5 stars Kids pasta w/butter - OK; Sides: Mushrooms (okay), fingerling potatoes (unseasoned), French fries (fine). Desserts: Brioche Pudding – Comforting and enjoyable. 4 stars; Olive Oil Cake – Excellent, moist, and full of flavor. 5 stars Dinner came to $622, including a 20% gratuity. While several dishes truly shined (the branzino, crab & avocado salad, and desserts), others fell short in freshness or execution.

Went for dinner with another couple and really enjoyed it. Good selection of wine, food was delicious and service was excellent.

Our server Devine was amazing and so well poised. The appetizers of meatballs and their charcuterie was presented beautifully. The only issue was with dinner. We got the squid ink pasta and the filet. You could 110% taste the food was high quality and fresh but it missed the mark for us on taste. It lacked so much flavor. If you’re looking for a good simple meal with 5 star service, this is the place but if you’re looking for dishes that the chef cares about flavor and excitement, this restaurant lacks in that. It was a good experience over all but we were just disappointed because there’s so much potential for it to be a restaurant where you go back specifically for that one dish because it tasted so good.

Squid ink fettuccine, iberico pork belly, gamberi oreganata were fabulous! Also, appreciated the complementary breads.

Over priced. Very disappointed. Small portions, service was very nice; food was lack luster. Average at that; not worth the price. The seating is too small and claustrophobic. Left after I got my first drink and appetizer.

We had our anniversary dinner here. The food was tasty but not filling. Disappointed in portions. Stop at high George first. Should have eaten there. Siena was basic hotel food. Won't be back

Excellent dining experience! Our waitress Paola S was fantastic. The food was delicious and the menu full of great selections. One dish needed to be sent back ( our fault) and replaced and it was handled quickly and without any fuss. We will definitely return when we come back to New Haven.

I celebrated my birthday here in September and was blown away. Suzanne (I'm pretty sure that was her name) was an absolute delight. Friendly, attentive, and warm. The food was exceptional, the cocktails were crafted perfectly, and every dish was beautifully plated. The ambience tied it all together. An effortless 10/10.

Exceptional service. We enjoyed the menu variety and distinctive ingredients. Looking forward to my third visit soon
